i've got my otus just when it was out in stores, and it's defintily the BOMB! it's very solid and you have "something under your hands"..the drivers work correct, fast and stable. i tested the otus with traktor 3.4 and the new traktor pro, in my opinion..stay with version 3.4 the new one is...***¨, the midi mapping of the otus fits perfect to traktor 3.4 and it's very logic to use..so otus gave me the kick to say goodbye to vinyl after 15 years of Dj-ing with vinyl..think 'bout it
Is this you in the video, I ask because I want to know what the quality and build feels like on the Otus. Thinking about getting a pair of these to control 4 decks in traktor. The other choice for a little more is the stanton SCS1D giving a more vinyl feel. I would rather these as i prefer the CDj style jog wheel setup. So if its you or you have used some would you recommend.
That's me in the clip. The base of Otus is solid aluminum (1,5mm thick? or something) so it's really firm and sturdy. Otus is now available from your local audio dealer or from the EKS webshop.
I think Otus go best with Traktor 3.4 than Pro..
