  • I love you for sharing this. You are such an exellent teacher. By George I believe I've Got It!

I am so excited about what I will be creating. Much Love & appreciation to you! :)

  • @1easyflow Thank you very much for your kind words

  • Just curious, could this pattern be expanded to make a blanket/afghan? If so, how would you suggest that be done?

  • It's very pretty on both sides.

  • I love this I used yellow and brown and it looks so good thank all ur projects male me wanna keep crocheting

  • Hi,I always look for your videos,I love everything you made, and I learned a lot

    watching you.Thank You.

  • @mguerra6 You are welcome!

  • Hi,

In answer to your question, it is just to see what the other side looks like .

  • Another gem,Teresa!

I don't want this to sound like a negative comment, but can you show both sides of your projects and add that feature to existing tutorials please?

  • @fill9twos Thank you for the suggestion! Please elaborate on the reason or purpose for showing the backside.

  • @tjw1963 Hi Teresa, I was hoping to see the back too ... Do you have front post double crochets in the back aswell? Or does it just look like a pretty yellow circle?

It would be easier to see the back, just to be sure that I didn't make any mistakes. I'm good at that you know, making mistakes other people never thought were possible :P

thank you for all your tutorials, they're awesome! I hope you never stop teaching me how to crochet. :)

    Big hugs from Belgium!

  • I tend to work between the stitches rather than in the stitches. Would using this method change the count for this pattern?

  • @terrwyns Working between each crochet stitch will work and the outcome for the granny square will be the same. I find that working between the stitches give a smoother look. It is a matter of preference.

  • @tjw1963 Cool thanks! I am going through all your granny square videos right now making them. I am learning to do all of this since I am new to crocheting and I love what you have! Thanks for doing these!

  • @terrwyns If you ever need the crochet granny square written instructions, the link to the instructions is in the video details below the video.

  • I love the color of the variegated yarn. What brand and color is that?

  • @claysdee This crochet yarn may have been a Red Heart color.

  • Thank You!! Love your site!!

  • Thx for your videos and writen instructions. You are awesome.

This square is just what I need.

I was looking for a granny square with the minimum of holes for an experiment.

I'm crocheting a handbag/tote bag recycling plastic bags.

I using bags of diferent colors that I think would look nice using this g square motif.

  • your so awsome i swear i've seen all your videos

  • @maxie1133 Thank you for all the comments. Keep watching and share my channel with your friends who may be interested in crochet.

  • That looks good, and not as hard as it looks

I will be giving that ago very soon,

your instruction are great and i can see what you are doing when you say the different type of crocket

    Thank you

i done crochet when i was younger but could not remember how to do a circle and a few other things. watching this has made it easy

now to get the wool and hope to find the correct needle as i live in Australia, the size you give are not the same. thank you and your voice is very nice to listen to

  • I love your videos. I'm just learning to crochet and would like to think that I'll be able to do things like this sometime soon. Beautiful! I love listening to you as well - you have a very relaxing voice.

  • @missytyrrell1 Thank you. Have you been able to find the beginner videos. Let me know if you need help finding where they are located.

  • Beautiful square! I have to try this one too! BTW...what is the variagated yarn you are using in this video? It's so pretty! Thanks so much for your tutorials, Teresa.

  • both sides are equally very good.

  • I have learned so much about crocheting since i've been watching your channell... Thanks so much for sharing your talent... Nancy Pell City Alabama

  • @onegrams Thank you. :)

  • Hi Teresa This is beautiful. I want to continue making this into a blanket. Is it possible to just continue the square?

Also, why do you cut instead of joining new color. Is it easier? I am in the midst of crocheting a multi-color baby blanket, and I am cutting yarn like you are doing, then weave ends in. It really seems better than adding different yarns.

    Thanks for the video

  • @dancinggirl75 You can continue making the square larger.I do join in the new color, secure my yarn and sew the yarn tails in.

  • @tjw1963 your so awsome i swear i've seen all your videos

  • hi! could you use this design in a hat?

  • Hey Theresa, i've made about 10 of these squares since I learned how to do this stitch[a couple of days ago]....I was wondering if you have a video showing the best way to join the squares into a quilt. Thank you :)

  • thank you so very much !!

  • are you joining to the first dc or the stitch you pulled up ???

  • @lkr5252 I am joining to the first double crochet. I find that the chain 1 with full double crochet creates a filled in, neater appearance than the traditional chain 3. That is why I work the chain 1 DC combination instead of the traditional chain 3.

  • hey u r soul of youtube.... can u tell me how to make icecream cone out of crochet plzzzzzzzzzzz

  • @sana959 That is a very good idea.

  • My virtual crochet teacher... thank you very much
