if someone is in my house when they should not be, I dont want to warn them to get out. I keep my firearms with one in the chamber no warning rack.. I dont want them to come back when im not home, when maybe my wife is home alone.. No if they are intruding into my home I am going to do my best to kill them. That way i dont have to worry about them coming back and threatening my family again. They make the decision to possibly die when they enter my home illegaly.

I love my 590 so much. I have this one, but it is the matte blued finish and had the speed feed butt stock with a tri-rail for-end pump with bayonet lug. Super badass combat shotgun. I recommend these.

I Just Bought a 590 special purpose haven't shot it yet but I loaded t up and extracted tHe shells it was stickin a little do you have to break them in or something clean them real good

Take it totally apart, use Gun Scrubber on everything and get it really clean, oil it well (the 500 design really benefits from liberal oiling), rack it a whole bunch, and shoot it even more.

My 500 is smooth as silk after about 1000 rounds, and just keeps getting smoother. A lot of people bitch about the Mossberg's stiff action, but mine is 870 smooth now, if not more so.

@saltydog78 well, if I were blasting a couple thousand rounds every day at terrorists, I'm sure I'd want the heavy barrel. For me, doing a few dozen rnds on a Big day, I'd rather spend the extra $100 on ammo, cause I'd never know the difference.

i like the 870. you ever do a slug change over with a mosbrg? 870 is better at it to say the least. but mosbrgs do hav ther plusses. i like the saftey. but nice vid and remember, i dont use a pump to scare somebody, i use a pump to shoot somebody. just givn my thots

@Miguelsr1rst I'm not sure on this, but I think the difference is the special purpose has a stock that can hold 4 rounds inside it, and it has very nice peep sights for rifled slugs.

I have the same 590 special purpose, but it does NOT have the heavy walled barrel. Im pretty sure that is a 590a1 exclusive....

Nice vid.. i heard a few errors tho.

Shotguns have some of the highest penetration unless using birdshot. So slugs and buck are all going through multiple walls.

The 590's have all the same internals as the 500 but the 590's feature an extra extractor.

The 590sp doesnt have the heavy wall barrel, that is only stock on the 590A1.

I wrap the rubber end with electrical tape so that just the butt is exposed, that eliminates the grab effect from the extra rubber on the end.

the main difference between the 2 mossbergs is the way the barrel attaches to the magazine.........the m500 is a screw in design (which really makes it a pain in the ass to clean or lube the inside of the tube when the gun gets wet,(thats one reason why the 870 is a superior design) ) ....mossbergs are better made with higher quality parts......i own both , i like my m500 but i love my 870 ;)

@deusredeemer I get where your coming at and i agree with you, however; the 590 is far more superior than the 500. Comparing the 590 and the 870 is a much more of a fair fight. After that it comes down to preference.

@jigglejack100 Parkerized is actually a dull finish, it is less shiny that the normal blued finish that is stock. The Parkerized is a little more durable also but it will collect dirt and hold onto it more as well.

Nice video, i agree about the shinny part, it gives out your position easier then non shinny parts in the dark..where did you buy the sling, it seems like it's a good way to carry extra ammo
