Too right in many ways the sound and the voices are far superior to the Japanese version.

Especially the (Mospeda/ New Generation) Yellow Dancer songs. This is brilliant SF story telling.

This is as good (if not better) than the Star Trek and Star Wars serials. Only Babylon 5 surpassed Robotech; IMO.

This was 1982/1985 , the Transformers was ridiculous compared to this.

Robotech is one of the best animation I have ever seen (I've watche 1000s too)

The Robotech storyline is a lot better than the original Japanese Macross one. The fact that they were able to create a whole universe with a continuing storyline from three seperate anime is amazing. I don't usually prefer the dub over the sub but in this case, the English one is superious. Respect Macek!
