Kev! would you talk us through your bench technique? i noticed a few more powerlifting elements. looking at your foot placement, very wide and also noticed the difference to the path in which your elbows travel, not pointing outward like a conventional press, but inwards nice and tight on the eccentric, without the back arching however. was this a concious decision to use these techniques for this particular goal, Or is this simply just the technique that has always worked for you? Cheers!
Kevin. I'm a heavy-weight/low-rep beginner. For your first set, are you lifting until exhaustion, or are you moderating your effort so that you can lift to near failure in the last set? Furthermore, if my presumption was right, do you apply that method for all of your other exercises, or is it only a method for some specific exercises?
im sorry but and i know he doesnt want my pity, but fuck going from seeing a man be as big as kevin levrone on stage, to seeing him now on youtube with 7k views, just makes me sad. and I think the reason flipsipp199076 says you aren't as happy now is simply because , you dont look as happy as you used to be training in the gym
Thanks for the nutrional tips (Simple but effective). I'm a hardcore trainer, training to get bigger and stronger and putting as much mass as I can in a year or so before I look at stepping onto the stage.
I know I've got to get a little more leaner to get better gains. But it's amazing just what you can hear when you are listening.
Hey, Kevin. I am not trying to be offensive, but I was just curious how you have enough strength move more weight each session with only a day of recovery time between workouts? I, personally, don't see how going up in weight is possible, let alone expecting to gain strength in such a short period. Could you please explain to me how this is supposed to work? Thanks, Kevin.
Hey Kevizzl Levrolo, Subscribed to you way back when you first showed up on the crazy youtube scene. Keep up the great videos, gives me something to watch on vacation.
@KKZReset11 He was on the juice back then like rest of the muscle heads. Cut him some slack jack. I wish all bodybuilding comps were natural. It will eventually, mark my word.
Kevin are you going to comeback to profesional bodybuilding? thats the only thing i want to know, Kev this is not you, i want to see old you, happy on the stage happy at the gym, i really need your answer bro.
@flipsipp199076 Equating the old me with "happier," is a presumption you shouldn't make, but I appreciate your interest in my career! I'm very happy now because I'm connected with thousands in a meaningful way. Competing again? You never know. :)
@levrone2000 i just wanna ask you is it hard to keep a lot of raw strength now that your so cut because it looks like you were moving much heavier weight during the strive for 405?
I hope you keep on going the Report, cause it's great so see a Bodybuilder doing so much different sports. I never seen a bodybuilder before who can do that.
@levrone2000 kev, i totally forgot to ask if you had any videos of you with your hband full blown, i never got to hear you jam on the guitar. i thought it was so cool when you had that band and I remember your tour bus.
@levrone2000 Kev, people who only focus on the bodybuilding still dont understadn the scope of the levrone report. The levrone report is about bodybuilding, but its also about training in a wide variety of sports as well as the positive mental attitude that goes along with being a professional champion. Everyone always wows when they find out that you are nont only a bodybuilder, but also a musician, martial artist, boxer, track and field athelete and a superdad. They need to understand.
@flipsipp199076 i don't know kevin but it's hard to quantify happiness from vids and pics. to me kevin "appears" happier these days. certainly happier than ronnie coleman was when i met him last year. who was surprisingly not as big as i expected.
if kev came back and did anything less than top level IFBB he'd blow everyone off the stage. it just would not be fair!
@morjx Higher reps/low weight = cut up , Lower reps/high weight = mass. Do both in your work out program on alternating days. On the heavy days bulk up on the protein and carbs after your work out. Don't try to be baddass and lift 400lbs like levrone or you will end up with a torn a pec and then you will be skinnier than ever.
Levrone is still the man

for your method of shocking the chest, after doing chest every second day do you take, say a week of rest before following on with your routine?

Hey Kevin...does doing lower reps with higher weight build more mass or should I be doing higher reps like 6-8?
morjx 1 year ago 2
@morjx a combination of both is the best. The muscle has to be shocked to grow.
