@KillarBigT , i own a zune hd and personally think it blows ipod touch away, layout is completely different, more user freindly, and screen quality is far better than ipod's. and it is still very new so it hasnt had time to develop new apps for it. as of now it does have facebook and twitter plus a few games and utility apps such as weather and calculator. but new things are still on the way for it.

iTunes works better on my Mac computers because it was meant for OS X. you PC people use iTunes on PC that was made to work with your iPods or iPhones. In other words Apple made iTunes for Mac before iPods were ever made and it runns very well on a Mac. On PCs, not so much.

it's not hard to do any of that, the real difference aside from zunes being much more durable is the software

@Shmekekey I did not compare the old zune to the new ipod. I was comparing the old zune to the old ipod. I have used them all, and the classic zune with their amazing touch sensor is by far the best way to use an mp3 player. Obviously it sacrifices screen space, so if you watch lots of movies it's not for you.

But the touch pad is SO much better than the click wheel. Touch screens just suck in general. They are really cool, I know, but not very practical... especially for a damn MP3 player.

no its not cheap feeling. the real metal on the sides and back make it feel awesome. it is a great size too. its smaller than a lot of pictures show you, but i think it is a perfect size. and i love it so far. i havent found any major flaws.

oh no, no no, i have one, and it is by far, amazing, battery is awsome, feel is awsome, size is SMALL, but not too small, good feel, its got an expensive look to it, the brushed aluminum back makes me feel like i got a very good deal for 290.

I have looked at a iPod touch for the longest and I just don't like it, it lags a bit when you switch orientation and that's a no no, plus I am more of a Microsoft person myself though I enjoy my apple products.

The Zune pass costs 15 a month. It is a decent chunk of money. However, you are incorrect about keeping the music. You may keep 10 songs every month of your choice. Considering the cost of the per song, that is not a bad price point.

yeah the ipod touch is better. i own a 2g. the only reason i considered a zune hd is because it looks hot and the menu design is nice. It also has a Tegra back (ie Tmobile G1) which is THE BEST because it doesnt get scratched!! But features wise, iPod rapes so I'm keeping mine.

The HD is not misleading at all. It has HD out, and HD radio. Is that not HD enough for you? And anyways, you wouldn't even be able to tell the difference between HD resolution and the current resolution on that small of a screen. If it did play HD video on the device, it would be a waste of resources and battery life.
