Excellent video! I saw the comment "questionable officiating" in Super Bowl 40 when I saw the Fox Sports article on Super Bowls ranked from worst to best. You can go to the Wiki on this game and read the head referee's apology for all the blown calls. Also, compare the stats between the two teams as seen in the Wiki. Seattle was simply an incredible team that year. What tends to happen is that when teams historically dominate their sport, they tend to get the "good calls". Upstarts don't.

The fact that Leavy alludes to ONLY TWO calls in that game, your eternal flame of "crying foul" is what gets me through the times when Pittsburgh falls short.

I won't say "get over it" or "stop whining." What I will say is this: I'm tired of having to defend my Steelers over and over and over again. There's always bad calls - the winners fight past them and win ANYWAY. The losers hang their wounded pride on the same.

Refs make bad calls all the time. I'm a Bills fan, they screwed over them too (not like Buffalo had a chance, but still :P ). It happens all the time and you can argue with every single call they make that it's a bad one. Unfortunately, what the ref says goes, and if they happen to be that asshole who's going to side with their favorite team every time they make a call, they can go screw themselves in the butt with a rusty pipe. :)

My opinion: It's sports. It's stupid to care. A.They're games. B. The entire concept of sports is a huge drain on (at least American) society.
