May I suggest Ga Ga, or that little snot nose kid (notice I didn't say boy cause I am not sure of the gender) with the weird hairdo, or some of the other lame ass groups out there today. Their voices mix like oil and.. some other kind of oil that doesn't mix well with good oil. It's like someone is strangling him, and not in the "have to pay her extra" way." Todd couldn't sound better, though!! I wonder if he sings.

@camplaurelcrazy7 At least Styx is still together touring and producing new music keeping their legacy and their music alive. Led Zeppelin fell to pieces when John Bonham died. It truly wasn't about the music for the members, it was about the greed and the money. They weren't a true band who were able to overcome challenges and move on, just as Styx with the death of John Panazzo or Chicago with Terry Kath's death. Zeppelin is extremely overrated, and it's such a shame.

I've loved and seen Styx live in both the DDY and Gowan years. I don't think some You Tubes do Lawrence justice. They both have great voices. Lawrence is a phenomenal performer, and an amazing keyboardist. Dennis may have the stronger voice, but has a lot of vibrato. Lawrence's voice always sounds higher and thinner on performance You Tube's than when I've seen him live. I'd never heard of Lawrence before he joined Styx, but I love his music.

yo i just saw styx/boston in concert. it was insane. the tempo was very similar to this and it sounded mad good. this performance is not styx at their best but its decent. Lawrence Gowan was wicked good during the concert. excellent stage presence combined with good vocals. the only thing that i found oddly out of place was the drum solo Sucherman tried to do during the concert. He was trying to be Alex Van Halen. Not everyone can be that good

Whose talking about Neil Peart of Phil Collins? I am just saying that, yes, Todd is a fantastic drummer. I've been to about 4 Styx shows and watched and enjoyed his drumming. But the fact of the matter is Todd isn't even in the same stratosphere as Alex, or Neil Peart for that matter (really no one is up with Neil).

First of all music is meant to be enjoyed so why don't we end the hostile language. 2nd... the tempo is uneven. That is all I am saying. T Sucherman is a fine drummer but I don't like his playing with Styx. That is my opinion. Check out the video Styx 81 - Grand Illusion. In my opinion JP's drumming is a way better fit. Are you a drummer?
