  • subscribe for me i subsribe for u

  • No HiTechnik, Yes Mindstorms!!!

  • Man, that is awesome!

  • Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick!!!!!!!

  • but does it drive

  • i want one

  • how to?

  • cool

  • i cant buy the sensor :((

  • how do you make it?

  • awsome!

  • I WANT ONE!

  • nice shooter, dude. Once i get my Mindstorms 2.0 kit,im considering something like this, but without the motion sensor and more like a sentry from tf2.

  • You need the LEGO Mindstorms NXT 2.0 set and the HiTechnic Acceleration Sensor available either from LEGO or HiTechnic.

  • HELP ME GUYS PLEASE: to build these ball shooters, I can use the set of Lego mindstorms 2.0, or i need an extra piece?

  • @falanginho yes you need a hitechnic acceleration sensor, read the discription

  • It is from the lego NXT2.0 (8547). You can build the ball shooters from the "shooterbot" from the CD

  • goooooooood

  • Can somebody help me? where i can buy the HiTechnic Acceleration Sensor

  • @fruitsalatwithfruit You can purchase the sensor either directly from HiTechnic or from LEGO.

  • @hitechnic Thanks ;)

  • @fruitsalatwithfruit lego.com

  • lego.com

  • @fruitsalatwithfruit yea PLZ!

  • will a gryo sensor work?

  • @mfoulks625 No, The gyro sensor is a single axis angular rate sensor which gives a value that is in degrees per second. For this project you need a multiple axis sensor that can be used to determine absolute tilt relative to gravity, that is what the Acceleration Sensor can do since gravity is perceived as acceleration.

  • I do the robot, but i can't download the acceleration block

  • Can you make this just using the 2.0 set?

Or do you need any extra pieces?

  • @Jimpiedepimpie just 2.0 i even added a chamber on top from a bionicle set so i can hold more zamors (balls)

  • @MrGustav99

Would this work with a ps3 controllor too?

    Instead of the sensor thingie.

As a ps3controllor is bluetooth. and i heard the minstorms one can get bluetooth

  • @Jimpiedepimpie i don,t know possibly but i heard that the ps3 move uses a camera so my guess would be no

  • @MrGustav99 I didnt say move did I?

  • @Jimpiedepimpie no but i still have to say no

  • @MrGustav99 I think the camera is for getting the position, but you would still need an accelerometer sensor to get the tilt

  • The controller functions like a wiimote. ^^

  • cool, did you get that ball chamber/shooter from a biconical toy?

  • @Martinjls It is the same shooting mechanism but this one came straight from the NXT 2.0 kit. This model can be made with a LEGO 2.0 Mindstorms set plus the HiTechnic Acceleration Sensor that goes into the controller.

  • @Martinjls bionicle*

  • problem fixed and this is awesome!

  • Every time I download the program and then try uploading to NXT it says there is a broken data cable! I have re-downloaded the program 4-5 times.

  • @8182junebug BTW, the problem was that the Acceleration Sensor block from HiTechnic has been updated but that this program still used the old sensor block. The solution is to delete the Acceleration sensot block from the program and drag in the new block from the palette and then rewire it like the old one.

  • what´s the name of the sensor you used to fell the moves you do???? gyro sensor??? accelrator??

  • @19f97 It is using the HiTechnic Acceleration Sensor. Since gravity is perceived as acceleration, this sensor can be used as a tilt sensor.

  • @hitechnic okey thanks i gonnna buy a accelrator sensor :P

  • @19f97 feel*

  • Cool

  • @hitechnic i have a question . i can not find the blue prints for the ball shooter, if its the one that says "HiTechnic Ball Shooter Building Instructions" it wont let me in :\ respone as fast s u can please ty

  • damn it i just have one thing to say

    your amazing...

seriously very creative and really well done

if you can post building instructions for this, it would be great

    thx and great video

  • @thesomeoner Go to models page on the HiTechnic website and you will find the building instructions as well as the NXC and NXT-G programs.

  • Great idea. Especially the two guidance motors for the shooter.

  • Awesome!

  • this is pretty cool.

I think that it would be even cooler if you could tape a clear bulleye on the NXT and line it up so that when aim it at a larger bulleye so it will hit that where it was on the NXT screenn

  • The Zamor ball holder has an opening that "pinches" the ball from behind. Hard to explain but when you see it it's very simple yet effective.

  • how does the shooter shoot?

  • @scl6267 the motor pushes a rod at the ball, and when it exits, the plastic "walls" are shorter than the diameter of the ball, and create pressure, they are flexible, so it "sqeezes" the ball out, faster, it is hard 2 explain, u need 2 see it, i didn't explain it right
