In the perfect and fair world, Maria would be number one. No one loves tennis as much, works as hard, and has that much talent. Though right now, strength and size are too big a part of womens tenns. That and kirilenko still hasnt found her groove and that aggressive court mentality that smaller all court players need. Hopefull when Serena reties womens tennis can get back to the basics and women wont have to look like schwarzenegger to compete. Why the heck did Dementieva retire?
