Thanks! Step one: borrow or buy a guitar. It can be a cheap one, but if it stays well in tune, then you'll be less frustrated and so you'll practice more and learn faster.
Step two. Learn some chords. A and D and E are good ones to start with. You can play a lot of songs with just those. Just google "easy guitar chords" or "learning guitar chords" and you'll see.
