I met her in San Angelo, Texas. Her rodie took a picture I had drawn of her, and gave it to her. She invited me and my friend backstage, and was so very gracious to us! I continued to have correspondance with her for several years. I want to say that she just "ROCKED!!!!!!" Miss you, Miss Ruby Starr!

Ruby should be in the rock and roll hall of fame. She lived , breathed, and died for rock and roll. I am so glad to see one of my favorite party bands do a tribute to her. Ruby was the best rock and roll woman ever. All the lame acts on american idol should watch what a real performer is like. Rock on Ruby c ya.
