I think I figured it out...This guy works at a hotel somewhere in Florida, and through a glitch in the inventory system they somehow receieve a surplus amount of microwaves, and having nothing better to do, this man has decided than rather be accountable for a stockpile of stolen/missing microwaves, he would be creative in his rustic folk people way and destroy them in abstract ways...This is Americana Folk Art at it's finest...

because dry ice is just frozen carbon dioxide when it is heated it expands but if kept in a closed container it will explode to try to get out

Well yeah, but I was under the impression that energy from a microwave oven is not absorbed by carbon dioxide. IT is absorbed by H2O just fine though and converted directly into heat.
