  • how do spell the name of the fish symbol , i would like to google some more info on it please sir..thank you.

  • Ichthys or ichthus, especially the latter.

  • I have seen the fish on cars, necklaces, and bracelets.....I always wonder what it meant...thank you...

  • Sharkism? In seriousness, I did a google search that revealed the Sharks are often the Muslim standing for the Christian Fish. Perhaps that is what that is all about!

  • That's interesting. They do think that they are the world's fastest growing religion. But naturally demographics are part of that, and force another. A few years ago, though, the protest of the hindu untouchables was that they converted out of Hinduism. They went mainly to Christianity and Buddhism, a few became atheist or joined minority religions, none at all chose Islam. The Christian revival in China also breaks all Islamic records without duress.

  • It has been pointed out in Bruce Bawer's 'While Europe Slept: How Radical Islam is Destroying the West from Within', that there are 400-million Chinese Christians to choose from, to accept for immigration into the EU, in lieu of the drive to tolerate the most intolerant people in the world. Peace!

  • In my view, it is not really a numbers game. And for that matter, it's not a sporting matter either. For any religion to put forth that mentality parodies its potency!

  • Well, it shouldn't be a numbers game, but unfortunately Islam is certainly playing a numbers game, and to counteract that effect personally I would accept the Chinese Christians we had space and jobs for in a heartbeat.

  • I am glad for your reassuring words. I was beginning to wonder whether or not I was, in fact, here.

  • Remember, we're still here. Maranatha.

  • Aha, looking at it that way, I too proclaim in the words of the old Latin antiphon, veni, veni, Immanuel!

  • Thanks for the explanation of the symbol.

  • You're very welcome.

  • Yes we are

  • Good answer.
