  • He defenitely should have got a medal! Nevertheless, he is and always will the best for me!

  • lol was that johnny weir's head that rolled past @0:09???

  • the thing i love most about stephane is his artistry. he blows other skaters away cus he actually knows his own music by heart and doesnt just skate along with it. but in vancouver i didn't see his energy or his passion. so sad to see him like that and also that he retired so young. at least he'll still skate in shows. long live the king of spins :DD!!!!!!!

  • @ UnusualSnake: this music is from the opera "Traviata" by Giuseppe Verdi. The whole music is arranged by many different parts of the opera mixed together.

  • The first music

  • What is the music playing? Tell me please)

  • I hope he doesn't retire again after this! :'(

  • He retired again. :(

  • according to wikipedia, he decided to retire..

  • this is true. i've also read. :(

  • Monkeys also can jump . . . Jumps and loops are less important. He is the best ice-dancer of all times . . . I feel sympathy for judges who can't give him the highest scores just because they need to count proper jumps only . . . He is a Prince of Ice!

  • @TEKNADA , yes, prince, not king... like Plushenko...

  • For me Stephane is the best of the best of vancouver!!!!

  • If he had skated with the same freedom and joy in the actual competition as he did here in the practice...................sigh.

  • yes..... it was impossible. have you seen how nervous was Plushenko! Plushenko... who did the greatest of the great program in Tallin... the OG is unpredictable

  • Yes, I agree. Just general unStephaneness in the actual competition. :( It's sometimes too bad the OGs have so much weight in the general public's view and a lot of people won't know who the best men's skater of all time really is.

  • Btw, I just wanted to add b/c my other comment didn't seem to make it. I love Evan. He skated his best in the competition and totally deserved to win that night. Stephane didn't skate near his best and still made fourth which I think shows how truly GREAT his overall skating is. Skating his best, he would have blown them all away. I adore Stephane and think he's one in a million. We probably won't see talent like his in men's skating for a very long time.

  • adore him)))Stef is the best!=**

beautiful program but where are the jumps??

  • He never (ok, almost never) did runthrough with jumps this season.

  • Because we have to remember he is still injured, even he is doing physio... You could tell he has problems with his leg from his jumps ... Such a pity. He is my favorite skater and the true champion to me :)

  • So sad he wasn't on Top... hopefully he feels no pain and is healthy throughout his hectic schedule after closing Olympics. Can only hope he feels the pull to compete in 2014 ;)

  • @janespears1962

we can only forbid the Americans to go to Sochi in 2014 and let Stephane win the Olympic Games at long last ))) I love him

  • So true n I'm here in US ;) Since I 1st saw Stephane skate-I was hooked! His talent was evident when he was just a young youngster-I can't wait for Gala-I hope he won't have to use the painkillers. I have friends going to Thin Ice (I used to live in CT and am jealous I can't go) I hope they get me an autograph :)

  • so am I jealous! I want to see him personally. I live in Russia and I'm looking forward to the Gala in Spb on 30th of March. somebody, give me money for the tickets in the first row of seats :D

  • BEAUTYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY AAAA
