  • this songs preety radical

  • EXCELLENT :D

  • random generic insult to any one who dislikes this song

  • you have discovered how to win at youtube! Well done.

  • actually in 1945 the word " record label" came from a african , over their meaning " shiny disc like substance that struts with pride" in 1968 Ars Van McHagen daz a irish-holland native put out the first record " pursuing this american dream" . He failed miserably . In 1998 McHagen daz died , with him taking such label records down. This anomily came when a british - japanese native asked about intuitive findings, and found that the only way to over- pass this would be to shoot himself thus dien

  • the irony is that lars is promoted by a record label charges $10 for his CDs, Lol.

  • Truth!

  • Not true anymore, he has his own record label. (Horris records)

  • yeah but he still sells records for profit.

  • sorry if he is trying to pursuit the american dream and make a lil money jeeze

  • 1.) He's British

2.) Don't get me started on that "american dream" bullshit.

  • fine im sorry it was more on the "don't hate him for trying to make a fucking living" bullshit

  • MC Lars isn't British.

  • cool 8th reply!!!

  • with american pronunciation!?

  • he's totally british with is OAKLAND A's HAT...

  • hes half australian not british

  • hey guys im gay

    haha

  • almost as good as jack off australia

  • yup lol

  • is the guy that sings the chorus the singer from bowling for soup? it sounds just like him.

  • Yeah, it's him.

And the samples are from The Passenger by Iggy Pop.

  • haha awesome :D

  • is the chorus the dude from bowling for soup?

  • Yes.

  • yeah mc lars is boss

  • it´s good

  • Why would you even go out of your way to make a poor comment? Are you that much of a b**** in real life that you have to be a b**** on the internet too?

  • lol no i just hate bad music and i had to say it

  • AHH!

    bowling for soup<3

  • DUDE! SOULJA BOY RIPPED THIS SHIT OFF!

  • How did Soulja Boy rip this off, just because they're DIY rap artist doesn't mean one ripped off the other

  • He ripped the video off, that lame ass "Crank Dat Ignorant Retard" video is like a copy of this, the way his song spreads via cell phones and shit.

  • lol

  • WHAT THE FUCK?

MC LARS IS THE ONE OF BOWLING FOR SOUP?

no no, the one who apears in 1:09 to 1:11

    wow

    seee ya

  • no there 2 different people listen to there voices they sound complety different

  • is that the dude from bowling for soup?

  • mhmm

  • nope, they just put the guy from bowling for soup on as an example of a popular music artist miming the words of this song

  • i cant tell if he really wants me to steal this song or if hes trying to tell me not to

  • This guy's a fuckin' idiot! It's record companies that made him what he is; rich and happy. Yet he's telling people to rob artists of their money? What a fuckin' moron!

  • actually he is on his own record label he started.

  • Still, he's encouraging people to rob musicians of their rightful income! And he'll also lose money through people downloading HIS music, so he's a fucktard! Everyone's entitled to their opinion, so just leave it be, ok?

  • yeah, music aint just about the money,

maybe how you see it. Fair enough.

  • Thanks

  • Also, note that he's talking about BUYING music online.

"Record sales slipping, down in percent,

increased download sales, you can't prevent"

  • "I wonder if I could get it off my sister for free" That doesn't sound like buying!

  • That line would probably sound better if you took the line before it as well, because it would entice that he's trying to rip or borrow a cd from his sister.

  • You're right, lol I have a hard time getting rap lines first time! lol

  • if an artist is all about the money i wont listen to them

  • I hate to break it to you, but, that's just about every musician.

  • They need money to buy their equipment and eat! Dumbass!

  • I highly doubt that this guy rich judging by the low quality of his music video. The song ROCKS! Who buys physical CDs anymore, pointless.

  • It may be pointless to you, but unlike some, I respect artists' rights to their income - which is being stolen from the by DOWNLOADING MUSIC FOR FREE! Why can't ANYONE see that?! GRRRRR!!!!!!!! How would YOU like it if you wrote a GREAT song, got a record deal, and no-one bought it, instead, they get it for free, and you go BROKE!!!!!!! Huh? Wouldn't exactly be nice, would it? GET A FUCKING CLUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • But that only matters if you value money over art.

  • No, it matters if you value your CAREER! They NEED money to buy their equipment, food, houses and pay their freaking bills! WHY CAN'T ANYONE THINK OF THAT?!?!?!?!?! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • GRRRR!!!! your a complete idiot. only around 13% of the money artists make are off album sales. Artists make most of their money from Merchandise and Concerts.

  • Uh-huh, and they used to make over half of their money through record sale, until someone created Napster! Just understand, I'm not for it, ok? Everyone is entitled to their opinion, this is just mine so leave it, ok? I'm against downloading because I'm a musician and I prefer the legal ways of buying music. I know, it may seem gay, but it's my choice, ok?

  • I'm a musician as well, but being unsigned people would be too scared to have to purchase my music, what if they dislike it? I would give my music for free, it would reach a much higher amount of audiences. I download about 1GB of music every week and have been able to get my friends into music, then next thing you know they're at a show.

  • I'm unsigned too. We're still looking for a place to jam.

  • The future of the music industry, there will be no such thing as labels. Just record (I use my computer) your music, and give it away for free to people and also allow them to purchase it if wanted. You will soon reach an audience and gig owners will have less worries when you are contacting them. What type of music do you play?

  • Emo/punk/alternative/metal

  • That's a weird combination.

    Mine is nu/thrash punk.

  • Awesome - can't wait to hear your tunes!

  • I won't be posting my tunes online. I'm the only band member. Play drums/vocals and use macintosh built in editing software to make a bass sound.

  • OMG! We're looking for a drummer! D'you live around Melbourne?

  • YES, YES, I DO!!

Haha, just kidding. I'm in Los Angeles.

  • DAMMIT! lol, Just kidding, rock on!

  • Even if I could join your band, my drum set is broken right now. My friend said I banged the shit out of the drums. I played too loud! My snare just broke and I couldn't tune it, The pedal for my hi-hat doesn't work, there's a hole in my kick drum, and my ride sounds weird.

  • Aw, that's too bad! Hope you get a new one.

  • I have no plans to get a new one. The instrument store just closed down due to the economic crisis (that's why I don't pay for music). I play at school though. I'm on the snare role, 3rd chair. My toms still work though. So I use those to record and the rest on GarageBand (the editing software)

  • Ok, I see.

  • what guitar do you use?

  • Fender Stratocaster, black

  • nice! Fenders are the best guitars ever. I have 2 acoustic guitars. Olympia and Yamaha.

My drums are remo, my cymbals are zildajian(I don't think I spelled that right)

  • Yeah, Fenders rule! Especially Telecasters. They have the best sound ever!

  • Gibsons are overrated. Their just big because of guitar hero. Les Pauls are so heavy and expensive. Radiohead's guitarist Johnny Greenwood has used his telecaster since '91. He has really abused his guitar throwing it all over the place and beating it up during their younger years. But he's still able to use it today. Sure it looks old, but the quality still lasts.

  • gibson's aren't overrated but they are overpriced. and rockband has fender so they're even now. personally i hate the strat [my opinion] but i do like the tele! idk, im picky when it comes to guitars. i dont really care for les pauls but sg's are cool. of course after all this i play bass so it doesnt matter anyway

  • what company do you use?

  • epiphone thunderbird just cause it was the best one for the price and i love the shape of it. i REALLY want a ernie ball musicman though [in my dreams]

  • Record sales are not the only band's income...

And 20 euros is just too much for an Album... (That's almost 25 dollars...)

  • i love this song i lisin to it everyday
