The Lambo has more power and torque, but it doesn't put as much power to the ground because of its all wheel drive system.

In a straight line, the 599 is faster to 200 km/h and 300 km/h by about a second.

On a track though, it's a different story.

The Lambo has a higher top speed, and may be better in corners, but that's about it.

The Ferrari gets to 200 and 300 km/h MUCH faster.

The 599 generally pulls in an 11.2-11.4 second 1/4 mile.

The LP640 generally gets an 11.4-11.6 second 1/4 mile.

Although the AWD of the Lambo helps off the line, the fact that the engine has to continue powering all 4 wheels means much less power is actually being put to the ground.

The 599 is just quicker on straights.

I still prefer the LP640 though.

not even close. The 599 is really fast, especially for its weight, but the LP640 is a supercar-it weighs less, has more hp and because of AWD and fat rear tires, it can corner really well! Check out Nurburging and Top Gear lap times...
