И аз, както може би и много други, попаднах в дилемата Борис Христов или Н. Гяуров. Всъщност наистина подобно питане е напразно и съм съгласен, че е най-добре просто да благодарим на Бога и за двамата! Конкретно за арията на крал Филип, бях убеден, че изпълнението на Н. Гяуров е еталонът, недостижимият образец. След като, обаче чух това изпълнение на Борис Христов, виждам, че то дава друг поглед - показва Филип като могъщ владетел, който обаче е безсилен пред любовната си драма.

Изпълнението на Гяуров, от друга страна, пресъздава прекрасно душевното вълнение, вътрешното преживяване на краля. Великолепни изпълнения и от двамата певци, можем да бъдем само радостни и горди с тях.
