This will certainly be an interesting craft on the waters of Holland, and I can understand the reluctance of a hire company not reproducing the seventy feet of an original. But the Royalty class Yarwoods built 'Duke' looked quite different. Moreover, 'British Transport' was never used though copyright on a new build may be a restriction. Pity about the choice of fleet No. - 131 was the Butty boat 'Chiswick'. Different in most respects. Fitted back cabin? What engine? Will turn heads.
The first start of the boat was made by Barry Hawkins,(60ft,colours, boatsman cabin, numbers, Engine Lister jp2)After that it was shortened and fitted by Keith Ball, but we tried to make it more original.
hi degsy2us, sorry this appears to be a year too late,... just to let you know that "chiswick" was fleet no 131 but was a "motor boat " not a butty, originally with a "national" engine but now with a lister jp2,....i owned her for 18 years then sold her in 2000,.....(worst decision i ever made),.....all the very best,.....sorry its a year too late ...mike.

Had to think for a second or two there!
Yes - of course it was a motor, can't think why I said Butty - the GU Buttys started at 200. Brain malfunction!
Likewise with the decision. Our lives changed after moving off the boat, and not for the better.
