As far as unemployment. One big reason unemployment is higher for Black-Americans,regardless of the economy,is because self-employment is too low among Black-Americans. Blacks need to create more jobs.

Then the media investigated some of those colleges to see if counselors were guiding students.

As far as unemployment. One big reason unemployment is higher for Black-Americans,regardless of the economy,is because self-employment is too low among Black-Americans. Blacks need to create more jobs.

SOMEBODY tell me what special jobs are supposed to be created for BLACKS? Garbage collector? Waiter? Bus driver? Or are blacks under qualified for those jobs? If you want a job lobby the jobs in your community; you start from the bottom up, not at the President.

He says "ethnic segments" as though he is not black, and other races of people are not a part of this country. Obama should help the generations of poor whites. They are invisible. They have no voice or representation. They are the true majority in this country. If you are poor and white - you are out of sight. Their ancestors could barely feed their own families. They were never slave owners. @DYNAMITEKID54 Issue here is with Obama abandoning the blacks not your view of him appealing to all Americans which he stated in his acceptance speech. He does have a resposiblity to Americans which include African Americans which voted for him overwhelmingly in void. Obama stroke a direct blow to black students which overwhelmingly attend technical colleges and universities by cutting financial aid. Then the media investigated some of those colleges to see if counselors were guiding students.

He deliberatly abandoned black students in that area. Obama made an appearance at a HBCU with government funds but he specifically and candidly mentioned that students must work harder and he expected it as if the they didn't work hard to get accepted and save money to attend.

Director of Ethnic Affairs Professor Nanaif Jackson told the public that black people need to learn Spanish to compete in the job market. Then she gave some rather not so friendly statement from employers which said black men were less reliable and presented attitudes.

Not to mention he could by pass filibusters with a vote of 50 and a reconciliation on his part.
