  • Thank you Bf5...good review.... ya should have included a recipe as well ..!!

and from watching the Shug's vid's... Stormcrow seems like he's one crazy mo-fo as well as a very seasoned hanger...

  • Hey! Great vid. Just one question: why don't you put the underquilt inside the hammock and sleep on top of it (as opposed to leaving it hang outside)? Or, if your Warbonnet is dual layer, put it between the 2 layers? Thanks.

  • @shoein81 Anything in the hammock or in-between the layers gets compressed and reduces the insulation factor. So, you get much more warmth by hanging the UQ under the hammock.

  • @MrBabelfish5 Thanks!

  • Wind Screen Brother

  • great info. I think I am going to get an underquilt.

  • You da man, Babelfish! Great review in a great video on a great piece of gear. Just great! - Hooch

  • @JHJohnstons Thanks Hooch!!

  • i'm struggling to make one, i have the parts just can't work out how to do baffles ! do you stitch both top and outter layers together? no idea omg it sucks !

    great vid

  • great vid

  • Great job, really explained the use of the under quilt. I am new at this and it helped a lot. Thank you

  • "I'm only 5'6" so....this is more like a 7/8ths length quilt" LMAO!

Nice product, I only wish that I could afford one!

  • You are a natural in front of the camera! Thanks for the video looking forward to more!

  • just got mine in digital camo. I love it. i had my blackbird, crowsnest, and topquilt to 32 deg. that was easy too. i know i could have went to 20 deg.

  • Great Vid, thanks

  • Great Video! I have the Ptarmigan, Burrow and the Blackbird. Wish my bed at home was that comfy.

  • Nicely done video. Stormcrow does very, very nice work. I have one of his early prototypes for the Winter Ptarmigan 3/4 length underquilt. I've had it down to the low teens F, and was perfectly warm.

  • Niiicee, Babelfish5; I've wondered how Stormcrow's end-suspension setup worked. You've done the product a great service with this! More Please!

  • Very, very well done B5. Enjoyed the video.

  • Nice work! What a great review of my baby! :D You do a great job in front of the camera!

One thing I will add is that it has 900 fill power down in it now. I have not updated my website to reflect that information. The baffles are 2" so the loft in the middle of the baffles should reach approximately 2.5"-3.25"

I really appreciate you taking the time to make this video...

  • @astormcrowe Thanks for the comments and additional info. It''s a great product. Please keep up the good work.

  • Great vid mate! Probably one of the better explanations of an UQ that I have seen!
