If you give a little gas as you let the clutch out you will kill the motor every time. You’re supposed to let the clutch out and let the auto-throttle take over. What the driver did was a force of habit. I probably would have done the same thing a few times until I got used to it.

ive driven this car and it has an insane racing clutch. Unless you really know what youre doing it will be extremely diffcicult. so its no surprise that many people struggle with it. i work at a porsche dealer and ive seen countless carrera GTs have to get clutches replaced at $9000 a pop due to driver inexperience. Its sad but at the end of the day they can afford it.

The CGT's clutch is very difficult. It has almost no mass and the flywheel is about the size of 45rpm record. The car was really designed as a LeMans race car but the project abandoned, so Porsche made it a street car. No mass + super fast revving = stalling.
