I would say it depends. If your good at tactics and pick your friends well (which isn't hard in this game) it's easy to hit 35

Well, I would normally take my time as I have a fairly busy life. As such it would take me roughly 1.5 months of focusing on leveling. Though, one month I got more free time to play and was on just about everyday, and in this way I leveled a captain from 1-33 in little over 2 weeks. At that point I new a lot of the quests inside out and always had willing help though. Really, it depends on how much you play and how much focus you put on leveling.
