hi richard, maybe someone could answer me why ubuntu is used more than kubuntu when kubuntu has such a more friendly feel moving from windows?, I tried ubuntu and I much prefer the "classic" feel of kubuntu . . all replys to this comment really appreciated thank you in advanced.
I think that *windows friendly* feel is also why many people dislike it. Many people have used linux for a long time, and have grown to dislike the clunky Windows interface. Indeed, it gets harder to justify an attachment to a single interface (like windows), when kubuntu, ubuntu, and xubuntu are all solid, usable desktops in their own right.
