I usually put torches on the walls on one side (left or right) while exploring, so I can find my way back by following the torches on the other side, so e.g. left when you enter, then turn around - your torches are now on your right and you can get out...

a good way to know which way you came into a mineshaft is to put a torch on either the left or right of each wooden supports as you go passed them, that way when you are coming back they will be on the opposite side to the one you put it on and if you see one on the same side you put it on originally when exploring you know you are going the wrong way. i hope it helps! :D

why not put a pumpkin on a dirt, remove dirt, and replace with fence

@pvpmoderators actually it worked great, I placed down wool...put the pumpkin on the wool, then broke the wool and replaced it with a fence! Hackaround but works great!

@MrWoodsti thanks buddy! I'm really struggling with this limit...I've recorded a few videos but they all have that "highlights reel" feel to it instead of a Let's Play vibe. I guess I'll just have to deal with it for now!

@Generikb I do about 2-3 videos per week, and got my unlock around 20ish videos, with only around 100 subs, so keep at it, I think it has to do with the frequency of uploads in combination with views/likes/subs.

place a block on the ground then a torch on the side you came from. if you find a block like that only follow the direction of the torch.

heres a tip, when cave exploring, only place torches on the left side of the cave, that way when you are finding you way back, just follow the torches on the right, and you will find your way back! and if you need extra lighting, just place one on the ground

im gonna be honest, i like to see EVERYTHING when im watching a lets play (with the execption of like 10 mins of strip mining), so at the moment im kinda disappointing with this lp.

I'm fairly new to doing LP videos, and the 15 minute limit pretty much forces me to highlight the best parts...and it just doesn't make sense to do a multi-part video for something like cave exploring. I'll try to make the best of the situation and record things that are interesting and that shows everything while still keeping within the time limit. Thanks again for your input!

Love your videos, but not a fan of that texture pack... I would rather see the default than Jollicraft.

To find your way back, only put torches on the left wall. Then you can follow them on your right to find your way back out.

Old and simple technique. Hope you like and find it usefull :D

Hey, Generikb, how did you start that chicken farm, just with eggs that you found, or did you try and build around some chickens to start ha?

@GilbertSJH i happened across an area with a bunch of chickens (I *think* pine forests have a lot of them) and found 6 eggs. Then I built a temporary holding pen near my hermit shack and threw the eggs, which gave me 1 or 2 chickens. Once I had gathered a couple stacks of 16 eggs, I built the chicken coop and launched the eggs in it! You guys want me to make a tutorial on how to build it? It's pretty straight forward, and actually docm77 has a video already (I just tweaked it a bit)
