I love watching vlogs but I can't catch up on watching them all anyway. I sub to over 250 people and a lot of them do more than one video a day.. its hard to catch up.
Terrific points made that I'd like to respond here on video but it will be a 2 parter for sure ;)
How interesting that you mentioned running/walking with earbuds on. True about the dangers of it, and I was recently scolded by a police officer for wearing them while driving! He said if he ever saw me again with them on he'd impound my vehicle. What a nice bedside manner he had.
My brother never had a radio in his car and said "my thoughts are more powerful and important than any radio station!"
yet again perfect timing to go with my evening meal! ;)
I must admit I did consider perhaps just doing a weekly vlog which I will just film/post the same evening which will help mix things up but also keep them fresh.
I'm doing my best to try not to drag out long series (which was why I hope to finish the beer reviews this week) but with y backlog I could easily post a video a night for a month without doing anything new (there's still 30 minutes of footage left from Greedos visit in Decemer)
When I was an editor for AOL I had to write multiple columns each day. I never thought about it as an "accoplishment", it just kind of happened. I enjoyed it, so I guess that helps.
I go for a lot of walks in the park nearby and, like you, I leave the music at home. I enjoy the sounds and the experience of having a sort-of "zen" experience. Just me, the ducks, the squirrels and the turtles.
Vlog a day FOREVER FTW! Bravo for being able to turn on the camera with a fully formed vlog in your head. When the light starts flashing I forget everything unless its written down.
I actually can't run or power walk without the ipod, my mind needs constant stimuli, I just try to stay on sidewalks where cars are likely to show up :-)
I keep trying vlogging but i havn't hit on my style yet i guess.I do like improvisation so you'd think i would be able to it ,but i digress i am working on a project where i'm coming up with improvised songs about the ppl i like to watch on YT.
I think it's also better to listen to music (or aduiobooks or podcasts) of your own choosing rather than what is played in most stores or malls. The music selected for consumer businesses is usually chosen because it will put your mind into a state where you'll be more likely to buy things that you might otherwise not buy.
I'm really enjoying this too! I feel like it brings the community closer together & we get to know each other better that way. I've found that by doing it every day, if I'm not in the mood to do it (like the video I'm uploading now), then i do more of a "here's what I did today" type of video, where if I'm more into it (like my first 2 this week), then they're topic based. I have a few topics ready to go when I'm feeling more up to it. This is a great thing happening here with the vloogherhood!
It's funny how music can act as inspiration sometimes, a filler or filter at other times and sometimes it just doesn't work out at all. I spend most of my night at work listening to music and audiobooks but occasionally there are times I rather be in my own head and I shut off my mp3 player and just think. Same thing with art, I can't work with music playing or if it is on I get lost in what I'm doing an I end up tuning it out.

I'm glad that the VEDFE is catching on. I've been able to actually have more than 5 videos to watch a day :)

I've tried vlogging, but people seem to, how can I say this...uh hate me. So I gave up. I admire this thing you're doing.
