Wantonnn, It´s standard for our region Brazil (Celsius) for all BMW imported from BMW AG Germany. I don´t know how to change it for the a/c display but you can change the external temp display pressing SET when showing EXT TEMP.
You can change all the pattern in your local dealer but its too expensive for that F or C in my opinion.
You have the early style climate control unit, with the fan symbol in the display. Did you know that on yours, you can press AUTO+rear defrost and you will get into a cool diagnostics menu.
The later units have AUTO in the display, in place of the fan symbol as on later models, the fan speed can also be set to auto mode. On the units like yours, only vent output selection is automated.

How did you have the temp set to Celsiuses? my 318i is in ferinteight and I know not how to change it.

@wantonnn It depends where you live lol. In Europe, Africa, Australia and other countries, they use Celsius. I know America uses F instead of C.
