the best sn95 stangs made were the 94 and 95, 5.0 engines, the 4.6 in the sn95s were dogs, the 4.6 in the 99-04 stans were much better with the P.I. heads. oh BTW thats a badass car!

@NightmareMC3 : because Ford wanted to use new technology in 1996 by putting 4.6 OHC engines in the Mustang and therefore replacing the old technology of the pushrod engines...Don't forget that the 4.6 modular is the ancestor of the new 5.0 coyote engine in the 2011 Mustang GT !!!

H/C/I, Suspension work (coil overs, LCAs, UCAs, adjustable shocks etc), 13" Brakes all around is basically it. Offroad H, equal length headers, flowmasters then some cosmetics. Thanks its got 70,000kms on it now bought it at 54,000.

@CobraPS3 I've got a 95 5.0, as far as magnaflow goes I've had expierence with em they arent as good as flows in my oppinion, and also I had bbk longtube headers on mine for awhile wasnt the deep throaty sound i wanted i went to longtube hooker headers those are high preformance and I love em! mine also cutoff right infront of the rear axel love the sound.

@CobraPS3 to be honest the performance you get from mufflers vs mufflers is minimal, dont stress just get what you like the sound of. headers will add power equal lenghts or longtubes are best, offroad H pipe/Xpipe will probably add the most power because you are eliminating 4 cats.

To be honest sign up on sn95forums . com and post on the forums, you will get lots of help and there is so much great knowledge over there. this has been discussed there before so just search it up :)

i doubt it. i just got a modded pony and when i put my cobra rims on with decent tires it will do it now only in 1st gear but this one was smoking them in 2nd gear. good luck lol.

it all depends what gear ratio is in the rear.... anything lower (lower ratio-higher number) than 3.73s will burn through the gears pretty good...

i been having mine for a while now and my buddy had his for 4 years and let me tell you man and anyone else will tell you the 5.0 stangs do not fuck up! they are bullet proff. as for gas their average around 18mpg if u stay off the gas which is hard.

yeah if the engine is in excellent condition it might have 240 to the crank...which is closer to 200 at the wheels. but yeah your prob right. i have a 96 with a 4.6. it is rated at the exact same power.

oh man dude throw some heads on there and change the timing and that thing will come to life. Since ford restricts everything from the factory the GT and Cobra have some much hiddin power that just a few adjustments would change. its ballin.

very, very restrictive. Ive got a set of AFR 185cc's going on my 95gt this weekend. It's on the bottle (100hp shot) right now and that makes her move pretty good but with the new heads, and the trickflow upper/lower intake im putting on should really put down some numbers at the track. I have all the bolts ons you can put on one except for what ive listed above and ive ran a best of 12:98. hopefull i'll be closer to high12's when done with the heads and intake.

you mean low 12's? you're at high 12's. but yeah dude heads are the way to go and AFR is the bomb. don't forget some fuel though. keep that air to fuel ratio nice and even and it will scream. the 19 lb. ones are only rated to like 300 hp. so when that nitrous kicks it you could maybe use some more fuel.

i did mean low 12's... sorry. i already have a walboro fuel pump( 225lph) in the car. i also have a bbk fuel pressure regulator so i should be good on fuel pressure. im gonna instal a fuel pressure guage during the process since i already have one laying around. Im also gonna upgrade the factory injectors like you said i dont think the factory 19lb'ers will cut it. Thanks for the comment man... have a good one.
