  • stone mt is in ga not nc wtf unless they have one too ours is bigger

  • fake.

  • this is soo dumb.he was goin like 2 and a half miles an hour.

  • skating down a mountain, thats pretty sweet.

  • Holy Shitt!! Man! I've been here so many times and this is UNBELIEVABLE to me!!

  • Nice! - I second what fierybones said.

  • Eddy, you keep me inspired!

  • Wow, he can skate for me anytime in East TN Smokies!!!

  • Eddy is Amazing!

It looks like he must be a good skier as well!

  • I ski and inline skate. Inline helps a little in learning to lean because most skiers fail to lean when they first learn, and so they do that stupid thing where they cross they point both skies in like a V the whole time. However, because he keeps his legs parallel and can go left to right doesn't mean he will be a good skier. I inline skated for 5 years competitively. It didn't help to much. Skiing is much harder.

  • So when you "skated competitively" did you actually skate any hills, as in proper hills, or was it just flat wooden floors? I don't think you know what you're talking about.

  • Well, I am from Georgia, a state full of hills. I lived on inlines and skated everything from my neighborhood hills to going down 10 story parking decks illegally. I am 110% confident I know exactly what I am talking about. I ski rather well, and you can't tell crap from how a person inline skates if they will ski well. The assertion is ridiculous.

  • The assertion that "skiing is much harder" is ridiculous. Both sports require incredible skill and nerve at the high levels. Eddy's above demonstration is not in the same league as say pulling off a parallel slide at speeds over 70 km/h - (which I doubt is a technique he uses). Such a technique would match any high level skiing technique.

  • You are right actually. I learned to ski with a decent, say a 2 year JO Skater technique, in about 6 attempts. Inline skating helped for one reason, I was comfortable throwing my body into an edge. Clearly though, you don't ski.

  • Skiing requires much more control since it involves higher speeds. Skiing requires more muscle use to manage stability because you also lack any sort of grip with the exception of edges.

You can think differently, but the inline skating world is full of a lot of jack asses who think they are all better than one another when they are mostly nothing but 2-year college retards.

  • I ski every weekend in the winter. There are about 10 slopes within a 2 hour drive of my house. I also inline 5 days a week. .

  • Honestly, it sounds like you are one of the jackasses that thinks hes better than everyone else. You ski well, big deal. I happen to think skiing is for faggots. What now?

  • What now? I never heard you because you don't exist. Move along now child.

  • Erm... Alright.

    Sup.
