@canyouloveme2: I agree. The glissando in the chorus comes out better and doesn't seem so rushed and mashed together. The vocal notes are allowed to stretch and linger a bit. And the bass turns from this crappy cheese-pop smoothed-out bassline into this grittier sawtooth buzz. I think the problem with the original is that it's too fast and too busy. It sounds okay, but slowing it down allows the elements of the composition to really shine.
