I enjoy this book, because I as a child was also abused. Therefore i know what he went through, even though mine was not the same, but i endured the same extent of abuse. BTW, anyone knows the name of this song and who sings it?

I don't want to sound rude, but what is portrayed here is nothing near to the horrible events that David was subject to.

Read the book again, if you're going to create a interpretation, at least get the detail right.

@koolkat59597 Exactly. I don't understand how she sits there and says that he is a "Bad Boy." Yeah, he stole food, but only because his mom didn't feed him. This book was so sad and I can't believe that a person could do so much pain to one child.
