  • nice )

  • this is great!! but one piece of advice, put the gun on the right hand side or create a way to switch between them. It feels better when playing

  • very nicely done , trying still make a game engine , kinda failed :D

  • very good what software was used to make this?? please can you possibly tell me I am deseprate to do game developing.

  • There is to much recoil man!!!

  • do you have to pay to make games on XNA?

  • This looks like some weird dream...

  • im trying to learn coding and xna myself, but just wondering, how long did it take you to get up to this level of skill in making this?

  • cool game...nice job dude..

  • but. WHATS WITH RECOIL? :D

  • Very nice indeed.

  • hes left handed

  • XNA sucks. Go C++ if you're a real man.

  • @MoonLightFacade Memory Management and Pointers will put hair on your chest.

  • @NotificationOfLife It also makes you less reliant on what MS provides for you. Most good programmers out there do not rely on anything but OpenGL or SDL to create their games, because they are the people who actually want to learn and understand what they're doing. I could just as easily create a PONG game in XNA if I wanted to, but I choose not to. My area of study is 3D mathematics on OpenGL so I can write my own Engine someday. Much cheaper to go that route. John Carmack as an example.

  • Can you make tutorials???

  • WTF yeah thats great cof cof

  • @samuel1234p2 cool spelling bro

  • Nice game!!!

  • And thats how Call of Duty was created,

    Jk ;p

  • Release it to the marketplace!!

  • how do you get it?

  • can i make games for windows with xna?

  • FULLY AUTO SNIPER =O END OF THE WORLDD

  • NCIE

  • i wish i could do this

  • @terraf1rma You can... XNA Game Studio...

  • Wow! I don't think I could ever do this right now! I'm a c# guy, so I use xna for my games. I read some of the comments, and I think I'll give a go at c++, because xna only supports games for windows stuff, not ps3 and such.

  • why dont u use udk or the cryengine?

  • Cool out of interest how many frames per second are you doing:? i saw article that said black ops runs at 60 frames and im wondering about it alot.

  • -3 joule, huh?

  • Oh Christ they're bombs.

  • gun is on wrong side (unless you're lefty)

  • 9mm barret? something new.

  • How much FPS?

  • @SuperCheeseybread - xna runs at 60fps

  • this looks like game maker...

  • download ???

  • I WANT A DOWNLOAD

  • WTF nice gamee!!!!!!!!

  • what program did you use to create the map and gun

  • Gun looks like a Barret 50cal with a m40a3 scope and a scar sight xD

  • Bah! Cubes exploding out of your face!

  • Wow man you coded the physic engine yourself ? I REALLY appreciate programmers that write their own mathimatical codes <3

  • Where do you get the more complicated 3d models from?

  • How did you learn XNA?

  • Probably a stupid question, where did you learn the C++ programming? I'd like to learn with tutorials etc. I know some basic C++ but so far my stuff has been limited to using mostly drag and drop like Unreal and the only real coding was Unreal Script.

So just wondering where did you learn the C++?

  • @LorgonJortle Yeah, i could rewrite it in 20 minutes today, but it was my first contact to 3D programming, huge milestone for me. Nowadays I use C++ and DirectX, XNA is too limited for me

  • Is it possible to get the project / source code? PLEASE!!!

  • whats the name of the pogram?is it free?

  • Where do you get your 3d models from?

  • BEPO in my opinion is best physic engine for start :)

  • nice :) u made a game with no muzzle flash no bullet direction or any type of aiming and hes left handed....r u handicapt

  • lol he shoots cubes out of his weapon XD

  • left handed gunner? nobody ever has left handed gunners :O

  • That first shot scared me !

i had my sound at max.

  • Which one do you think is easier to code in, XNA or C++ (C)?

  • @towatchutube123 XNA is definitely easier to start if you don't have previous coding experience.

  • @Kavaari heya m8 how many lies of code went into making this game?

  • @Kavaari should i consider XNA and C# making a 2D game ^.^

  • @towatchutube123 @Kavaari

Please note that C++ is a lot more powerful than C# / XNA aswell, and will support more.

  • @towatchutube123 XNA is a framework, and for sure XNA. You don't have to worry as much about memory since you got the CLR taking care of things.

  • @towatchutube123 XNA is also for people who don't want to learn anything though. If you really want to learn how to code, learn open gl and SDL in C++.

  • Hieno, tee viel tutoriaali

  • Can you integrate your own 3d models and animations to the game? For example I'm very familiar with 3d modeling and animation using 3ds Max, would XNA allow me to use my models and animations for game characters and make my own game? Or does the coding control all of that?

(I'm a noob with coding but I really want to start)

  • @PereraProductions Yes, of course, 3D models are big part of 3D game. I use 3dsMax for simple modeling (I'm noob). The code determines all their transformations, and events for example when is the walking animation triggered etc.. XNA is easy and great framework for games, I suggest you to check some getting started tutorials from XNA Creators Club website.

  • @Kavaari Well thank you very much for your response! I'm also very noob with modeling but I'm better at animating.

I think I'm going to be using XNA with a mixture of Source SDK as an engine. But your video is very cool and I am very inspired to start using XNA now :D

  • @PereraProductions try out unity. that works very well.

  • @PereraProductions If you're planning to do a lot of 3D, Unity is probably better, it does a lot more work for you than XNA and support for 3D models are much better. Coding can still be done in C# (other options are Javascript and Boo) so you'll get a good experience if you want to move up to XNA later on

  • @ThePeter1231 va fan är det för spårk?

  • how did this ended up?

Im starting with xna so im looking for other peoples experiences

  • @SideShockGame I didn't develop this after I gain more experience, the code was too sloppy so it was easier to start a new project from scratch. When I did this I didn't know how the class system work so this game had only one class and it was very sloppy. But I have made other 3D engine which are fairly developed and has shadow maps and atmospheric scattering. XNA is great and easy framework to make games. Currently I have one C++ game project going on and XNA isn't suitable framework for it.

  • @Kavaari You only used 1 class for the whole thing D:

  • Subscribed,Hopin to see more.

  • look good man lol but i noticed that the gun is in the opposite hand lol most guns to this date are on the right side but anyway still amazing job

  • How to make a multi player bata type game cause i rlly want to?

  • Very nice, but wow, the bullhet is so slow! haha

  • @ThePeter1231 jag talar inte svenska

  • @Kavaari that ain´t swedish that´s german or danish idon´t no but not swedish

  • it reminds me of gmod.... REPROGRAM IT!!! I SUBSCRIBES BECAUSE THIS IS AWESOME!

  • Wow that's pretty impressive!

  • hi.... this looks awsome, if this is already out or is going to be then i reckon u should try and add some stuff to the gun, u now like recoil and stuff like that, i now it probably might be hard to do it but it would make an awsome game even better good job

  • Making anything for the xbox live indie game marketplace?

Looks like you could make a great game!

  • Nicely done!

  • Why are people comparing this to battlefield or crysis? Those games were developed by large groups of people that are given specific tasks. This was made by ONE dude. It's pretty good for one guy. Anyone who says they could do better; should be silent, and try to do so. ;]

  • I'm developing new far more advanced XNA 3D physics shooter, videos coming out soon!

  • @Kavaari nice to here that. u gonna sell it?

  • wow this guy is lefthanded... looks wierd...

  • battlefield is much better

  • @bestmusicdj yeah...maybe

  • @bestmusicdj .....try to make it by ur self

  • @bestmusicdj hahahah

  • Did you do the graphics for the gun and the arm yourself? Cause im looking for sprites like that for my project

  • Why Left Handed ?

  • very good man!

  • Is that ray casting collison?

  • @Anddos25 no all bullets are physically modeled "rigid boxes" but ray bullets would be better option in longer run, but I'm not developing this project anymore.

  • this is like crysis ... how much?

  • @imboor3d No it isnt. How is it like Crysis???! WTF Crysis has the best physics evar (including water physics) and it has the best Graphics. HOW IN THE NAME OF GOD DO YOU THINK THIS IS LIKE CRYSIS?!?! Wtf

  • @ENDORPHINSAM NEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRDDDDDDD

  • @imboor3d Lol, good comeback but wtf? Crysis has nothing to do with shooting boxes.... out of a sniper... WTF!?

  • @ENDORPHINSAM i was trolling .. calm down buddy

  • @imboor3d faaaaaaaaaggggggggggggggggggg

  • @gruntlover2 I AM NOT A FAG

    watch?v=kffacxfA7G4&feature=related HE IS A FAG

  • Lol, Physics + Sniper = Phsniper?

    Bad name, but cool game.

  • lol you just got fly hack and spawning objects, CHEATER :O

  • C++ is more powerful than C# . C# remains interpreted programming language as bad as visual basic 08 is.

  • lol no recoil OR gunshots :D

  • Holy crap 1080p!

  • LOL! This is just the "GettingStarted" Demo that comes with the BEPUphysics with a slight change to make a model move with the camera... Fail.

  • No it's NOT, it uses only same models, I have made my own camera, movement and rendering systems also physics little tweaked.

  • where did you get the model of the sniper rifle, did you make it? and what program. cheers.

  • i like the way your sniper turned out =D

  • how did u make?

  • @STAR123WARSS With XNA Game Studio and Visual C# .NET Express, you get it? :D

  • how did you make this make a tutorial. i subbed

  • ah, very nice job on this. I've been programming in c++ for about 2 years now, started to use DarkGDK. I'm just now switching to c# for using xna because c++ is getting old. c#'s syntax really caught my eye.

  • @devilcry79 I thought c++ have more possibilities to make more complex games than c#?

  • lol that what i thought too :p

  • theyre the same thing but c# is easier

  • In C++, you have more control over your code, but it's harder to learn. It is not getting old... Most of the games is written in it. Also, you can do exact same things in it as you would do in C# (only the diffirent way).

  • @Kavaari No, not really.

  • @Kavaari it doesent offer more possibilities. its just faster. you can render 200 times faster than then in c# because there is no framwork and stuff.

  • @devilcry79 yes whatever the fuck c++ and c# is :D

  • Hey man ! that looks really cool, I'm thinkin' about makin' a game my self, but I have noooo experience what so ever :P I wanna make a game where you can slice off heads, arms, legs, feet and so on. I've looked around a bit here on YouTube and your Video really got to me ! is there any chance that perhaps you could send me some tips ? what tools are there to use and what do they cost ? Endorphin is something I've had my eyes on for a while, is that something I could use ?

    Thanks

    //Lame

  • Hey!

It's nice that you have inspiration! But if you have no experience that's a problem. The game you like described is hard to make even if you would have a lot of experience.

The tools I use is completely free, just google "xna game studio" there are great community and forums where you can ask further questions. Also there are very great video tutorials which got me interested to make a game.

Endorphin is impossible to use without proper knowledge of C++ game programing.

  • This is awesome. If you need some mapping help, I would love to help. I have about 3 years experience in mapping.

  • wich program did you use ? visual basic ? or xna game studio ?

  • C# language and XNA Game Studio

  • Ok thank you .

  • Amazing start especially considering how little experience you said you had, do continue. Just make sure not to get all disorganized and sloppy in code

  • How long did it take you to make this?

  • 2-3 days

  • This is Great! =D

Now all you need is a XNA Membership, and an Xbox 360, and you can make this for the Xbox! =D

  • lol

  • Why did u say that for, you can u dumb ass!

  • felt like it =D

  • haha Funny!

  • yea, i thought so :P

  • Dont commment on this video when you obviously have no common sence on what is actuallly going on you fucking prick!

  • @mattydavid13 or try makeing on ps3!!! we has blueray allowing more epicness and its 5x easy with more space and memory!

  • @TheDarklord0211 It cant go on PS3... Its a Microsoft Product. That sucks. (I love PS3 So dont get meh wrong) PS3's blue ray only gos for movies. and if you wanted HD you would need a HDMI Wire and a HD TV. Your right about the Space and Memory though XD Xbox only has like 20 GB if you bought just the Xbox 360, and PS3 comes with 80 GBs :D
