  • Thank u guy's for making this video, not only is it educational, but very entertaining ! I really enjoyed it !!! Yea !

  • dit comme ça ... ;D

  • finding ways to get the point across,I give you full marks ;}

  • but if the immune system is being boosted by telomerase then the chances of cancer should drop?

  • it causes canser :) so ehh

  • Hahaha, so cute... =D

  • yur awsom dude :)

  • LOL ROFL LMFAO

    wonderful voice and song.

  • pag-sure!

  • You should try out for American Idol!

  • brilliant!!!!!!!!!

  • Are you guys having a killer time?

  • That would be nice, but if you had telomerase up-regulated in all of your cells, then you would probably stay young and vibrant for a few years... Then get cancer everywhere and die.

Telomerase is down regulated to prevent the uncontrolled proliferation of cells from becoming a threat to the body.

  • @Incitatus4 cancer wouldn't be a problem if you weren't being poisoned by the new world order.

  • hahahaha, awesome!!

  • bitch you SO off-beat

  • good girl love it

  • Sorry, but your singing is terrible.

  • @r0galik calm down

  • it's possible now!

  • you guys should post the lyrics so i can sing this during my finals..

  • can you post the lyrics. =] thanks!

  • cute

  • if you make telomere longer - YOU WILL NOT GET YOUNGER CELL. So if you 80y/o and you make your telomeres to be as in early 20-you still look like 80.

  • youtube's video bob mccauley ionized water explains most of this adding years should be simple figuring from there @blackle4ps3

  • wtf....?

  • junk shit

  • HAHAHAHAHA I love this video!

  • This is hysterical and really funny! On a serious note Telomerase does protect end of the chromosomes, lengthening telomere and facilitate healthy division of cells throughout the body. I have been taking the Telomerase anti-aging formula (De-Nouveau by Elan Vital) over 5 years and now look and feel nearly 15 years younger, both look and feel. Dr. Elizabeth Blackburn received the Nobel prize for discovering the enzyme Telomerase in 2009.

  • @elanvitalantiaging

You appear to be an advertiser. The name says it all. The sad thing is some poor people may believe you and take your product for years only to find out it has nowhere near enough telomerase activating substances in it to do any good.

Nice touch evoking the name Blackburn. Point me to some proof.

  • @Achaeos6 indeed

  • @elanvitalantiaging

PS telomerase is associated with cancer...because it does cause your cells to become immortal, meaning any mutation that it might have doesn't carry the cell through apoptosis it just keep on dividing till you accumulate the mutations and develop cancer.

    I'm just sayin'.

  • @elanvitalantiaging you idiot

  • Watch the human population of planet Earth hit 50 billion a couple of years after these drugs go mainstream. Forever young... and die of starvation anyway.

  • @geomort

Most people are revolted by the idea of becoming immortal. It is unthinkable to skip out on your eternal punishment or reward, LOL. So probably most people will not partake. Secondly it will only be available to more advanced people, who generally have fewer kids than primatives. And as numbers get too high there will be a push to eliminate any further breeding at all. People will be forbidden from having babies ever again. Then the population will gradually fall until ........

  • @geomort

.................. one day millions of years from now, as they laws of probability catch up to us, we will be reduced to a very few. Over time accidents will have claimed some of us each year until that time when we come to the realization that eventually we will all be gone but with all ovaries having been removed 40 million years ago, we will be completely unable to reproduce. Whats worse is that we will not care enough about perpetuating the species to bother finding a way.

  • Telomerase=cancer

  • @ZengaGuitar

    Nope. That is wrong.

  • @Achaeos6

I think wrong it a little to far.. Telomerase is expressed in cancer cells.

  • @ThinKFasT03

Yes but for Zengaguitar to say "Telomerase=Cancer" is misleading. Like taking Cholesterol lowering drugs. Find out Y the Cholesterol levels R 2 high & deal with that. But no one likes that answer. They want to continue making themselves unhealthy & take magic pills to ease the symptoms. For awhile folks blamed Eggs , but dietary cholesterol has little to do with blood cholesterol levels. Cancer is a matter of exposure to cancer causing stuff and depressed immune system.

  • @Achaeos6

I'm actually on the side of the debate that says genetics is the governing factor. Some people will need cholesterol drugs, not due to their diet but due to their genes. I recall reading that a common mutation that is in our population is one that limits the effectiveness of our LDL processing. In that case the drugs are needed.

Although, what I do not agree with the recommended cholestoral levels.. They constantly get lower and lower, sure maybe its due to research, but i think

  • @ThinKFasT03

It might be motivated by the companies...

  • @ZengaGuitar indeed

  • horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Sorry but this song IS HORRIBLE!!!

  • I heard that telomere unraveling may be essential to evolution, and that mutations that occur due to the unraveling process can be beneficial to an organism, and to the race to which it belongs. Therefore, the question becomes, "for how long do you want to age, then return back to being young again?". Like 2001 a Space Odyssey, humankind might forever vacillate between being old, young, and middle aged....:)

  • If you want to envision how the antennae work, consider a TV set--- if the antenna is functioning properly it receives radio signals efficiently. If the antenna is damaged, reception will be reduced, if the atenna is broken, the TV will not have reception at all....

Evidence of the positive effect of sunlight on DNA is found in the reproductive cells, sunlight stimulates fertility. If the cells did not age and received regular doses of sunlight it would have a very positive impact.

  • This is hysterical!

    Really funny!

  • oh dear! you have shown the world a whole new level of cool
