I hate to be a dick but... the bass player.. WTF? Guitar player's good but the whole thing is rushed. Where's the pocket? See the video response for the way it's done. Just sayin...
terry turned down the opportunity to sing for acdc after bon scott died. his reason was he didnt want to join an established band and rather do a solo career.
@maestro733 Wow, I think he let his personal wants over take his career interests. After you're established in a band like AD/DC you could always do something else on the side and most people would embrace it because you're the singer for AC/DC.
Thanks for your lovely comments, the band are simply fantastic and John is very special indeed! Simon Kirke and Freeway are touring again later this year, check out the Freeway website for details or email me with any enquiries.
Haven'y heard Terry sing since maybe the 80's in NYC..amazing!!!!!! He REALLY is an overlooked talent!!!!Maybe even worth a trip oversees to see him!!!!
love the vodeo, had a tear to me eye, have not seen or herd terry for years, always loved his sound, bless him he shoild have made it real big with that powerfull voice of his, i remember from the old days down the Marquee> ship (pub) wardor st> reading fest>
the fun we used to have
anyone see him say HI from Babs? that will get him thinking
That guy on the guitar is the nearest to Koss I've heard anyone else play. Absolutely brilliant in the absence of the original master. Like the other comment asked - who is he? Can you learn to imitate Koss' style as well as that or is he simply a brilliant guitarist who's influenced by Koss? Any answers anyone?
Who is the guitar player? He's obviously studied Koss-it's almost creepy. The face making, hair, Les Paul, Marshall stack that he stands right next to just like Koss, the tone, vibrato--eeerie...
Wow terry sounds FAB as ever, havent seen him since the old days, thats got to be 20 years or more have some great photo fo B.S.C and terry singing with Frankie miller oh how we loved terry
Great stuff and good to see you guys doing this. Authentic sounds there from the guitar...great wide vibrato ala Paul. Good luck with this project...Free's music MUST be heard. :)
Somebody called this a "cover" band - they a sound better than the "cover" band Paul Rodgers has been touring with - in fact they sound spot on !!! Good vibrato that man - that is not as easy as everyone thinks !!! What guage strings are you using chap ??
Thanks for the post.
