This is what happens when you have a somewhat large city in the mountains... all of these people complain about losing our mountains, but if this was passed that only people that would be living here would be the richies because the price of living would be even more insane than it is now.
I gotta disagree with the comments. Being in the building industry I would have no option but to be put out of work if a moratorium was passed as well as many others. I love it here too, but the developers aren't putting the homes on the mountains unless people are paying them to.
Thankfully, the contractors and real estate tycoons didn't think to hire a Louisiana-trained political expert to do their ad. This attempt is amateurish and utterly laughable. They even used footage of a very pretty "radical." Half the men in the audience weren't listening to anything as soon as her pretty face came on the screen and the women all felt sorry for the less attractive "radical." Thanks for posting this, but it should have been under the humor category.
vote yes on moratorium! look at that rich guy with his expensive chocolate lab he doesn't want to have to take out loans to send his 6 kids to school and his 3 ex wives need all new suv's each year. vote yes!
Boo, this is a load of crap. It's not going to be a desirable place to live anymore if the mountains are infested with houses and huge building complexes all over the mountainside. What's so bad about living in the valley? Oh yeah, richies want that "million dollar" view at the expense of everyone else (not to mention the environment).
They don't care about the ture inhabaters of this county or city all they care about is making profit i hope they rot in hell
