I like forms more than sparring for some reason cause forms is easier than sparring heheh ! I know a kid in my TKD class who doesn't do any of the drills he just stoods still and wait for the instructor to come and force him to train which I find it funny ! lol.
Does anybody know if this particular series of videos can be purchased in the United States and if so where? I would really appreciate it if someone knew. I don't mind that it is in Korean. I just want this particukar series.
Thanks for the great vid. But i was wondering, is this still the correct taegeuk 2 ? Because i heard at my TKD school that taegeuk 2 is with small stand. Thanks in advance.
@geittappijt hey bro. the walking stance that you are refering to is taught slightly different in other schools. But as you see in the vid its still a relaxed stance in the gait and width of a walking stride, not a deep stance, or front stance. so while there are differences the idea remains the same.
@vrednie yes but in these short stance they are modified slightly. Even I teach it sligtly modified due to my superiors. But I'm well aware of the forms pattern and movements. Although I have to agree with the video more so than I agree with my superiors.
@vrednie as long as I have been with my master there is a lot I don't think he knows. But although the changes he makes aren't always severe and major, the principles and ideas behind them become lost. When I open my school I plan on researching things thoroughly before deciding on how I will teach things. I never want to lead people astray relying on one persons perspective.
@vladSTD you're right, but almost all martial arts have changed considerably, even some disciplines have been lost and many schools only teach the sport, but it is our responsibility as practitioners on promoting discipline. Anyone who is willing to promote it is entitled to be called if you work Taekwondoin
@vladSTD I started practicing taekwondo, when i was yellow belt, I asked my teacher for permission to practise karate and i started practicing 2 martial arts, now i am blue belt in taekwondo and yellow in karate, im 23.
maybe im not a martial artist now, but i want to save the reputation of martials arts, if you are practicing someone please help me, sorry for disturb
This is great!!! I am testing to green belt in just a couple of hours. This is very helpful and I will be coming back again and again and checking out your other videos.

Who did create the taeguks forms?
Anibal677 2 years ago 10
it was a re-working of the Palgwe forms by the Kukkiwon to try and create something different and easy to learn yet still show an array of techniques.
Both are legitimate and can be learned, the ex-officio remains the Taegeuk forms though.
