if you can believe it I saw one in my pond in NW Ohio last year! It was there for quite a few hours! I got some vids and pics of it (my vids are crap tho because i have a little cheap point and shoot camera) but it took me forever to figure out what bird it was! Too bad it was only passing through!
Very nice video. We have just discovered a pair of these birds and one young on our local lake in Raleigh NC today. What lake / river is this in Brevard as we often go there?
