@AroreForLife I disagree. If you look at the Novels, and compare them to the games there are some glaring inconsistences. Even looking at just the games, there are some. For example, at the end of Halo 3, Chief gets into the cryo tube with not armor enhancements. He just never had them. But in the Season 4 Trailer, Chief exits the pod WITH a jetpack. and not only that, it's incorporated into his armor and not an add on like Noble Teams upgrades.

@vaapaad Um...Wrong again. The jetpack has always been there. It is a Zero-G thruster that every spartan has. It isn't some, random perk that they put in for their own entertainment, it has just never had a purpose in the games so most people find it very odd that it is all of the sudden there. When it has always been there.

If the Mjolnir armor had an integrated thruster, why'd John, Linda, and James need a thurster pack to reach one of the orbital docks over Reach? The Integrated pack would also have prevented the death of James ...

@SNITZ0 The difference in your comparison of the Resident Evil's novels to Halo's is that RE's novels were either written after the game already came out, or written to fit the movie's storyline.

Halo's universe was set up WELL before Reach came out in the novels. They tinkered with their established universe to fit the needs of their game.
