  • A lot of good comment has been posted that relate to the notion of motivating others to learn the Arabic language. It is important, and crucial, and I include myself to be one of those that would strive to learn the language. It is important to note that the language of Qur'an is not the same as modern Arabic. It is highly eloquent. Imagine the words of Shakespeare vs modern English, to get a better understanding. The Qur'an is perfect in every single aspect, be it intellectual/literacy & etc.

  • @prosig556 so having no more than 2 children will solve world hunger?... No, the matter is more greater than that. The richest 40 people in the world have more money than all the people in the US combined.

  • @ataas the roth feellers family alone holds hald the planet's wealth .. and they cant do anything ... people have dosens of kids and they get properly fed.. god gives resources not usa or uno ...

  • @prosig so having 2 children will solve world hunger?...

  • stupid guy, no one should have more then 2 kids, no wonder people are starving

  • @prosig556 and who controls who can have more or less than 2 kids? You? Your wife? How about that thin condom you put between you and her? Not a single human being can even create a human from scratch and you brag about the OPTION of choosing how many kids one should have? And no starvation is not b/c of many kids, its b/c of ppl's greed, hatred, anger, jealousy, lust.Open thy eyes, otherwise, shut thy mouth. Peace

  • @mindsoulbody DObvious you lack education, do you know how many contraceptive methods there are ? all women should be on the pill. Countries with low fertility rates do not have food problem, guess who does, africans. Africa has the highest birth rates nowdays, 6 kids per women in somalia, Niger, Uganda.. Get education,. Chinese have 1 child policy, this has helped them develop. Over population is the most important problem on earth

  • @prosig556 and obvious u just analyzed ONE side of a multifarious sitautions that constitutes this problem in general. Don't just a problem from ONE side. Judge from all sides, and u will see that its not that easy to solve a problem.I had my fair share of lesson and education from school, university and had chance to study w/ some highly educated ppl outside university. So you should ALSO not judge someone by their comment.

  • @prosig556 Your very first comment about him having that many babies show you are ignorant. 2nd, you assume I lack education. THAT shows you are also ignorant about other ppl. 3rd, you don't know how to show respect regardless of opinion or situation someone is in (he has many kids, I left a comment). So overall, I think ppl like YOU should be cured first before putting a pill in a woman's blood.

  • @mindsoulbody Ever heard of, march of the morons? Its a theory that low IQ retards breed alot more then educated people. Having more then 2 kids is sign of retardation, every sexually active or married women should be implanted with a birth control (implon) it lasts 3 years,I dont know about you but i dont wana see people starving due to high birth rate

  • Arabic too hard to learn. I give up.

  • @bombaclaat Arabic can also be easy yeh?

infact nothing in this life is too hard if you like work on it and have some patience, yeh??

  • @senamoot No, that's some idealistic view.

Some things just too hard to learn, I gave up.

  • yes its all true - cant figure out which part is supposed to be funny though ?????????????????

  • If Arabic is so important, why do only 0.00001% of Muslims speak the Koranic or classic Arabic? Why do 80% of all Muslims not speak Arabic at all, but just remember a few sentences?

If these messages are so important and were transmitted to all tribes and nations in their language previously, why were these messages not written down and kept for all nations and tribes?

If these messages were given to all in their own language, why is the Koran today not being translated in a perfect manner?

  • @superflafel99 when u have proven that allah is not there then come back and say, but to just insult with no proof or evidence puts u on the idiotic side.

  • super cool story..

  • :O it really is important

  • @SUPERFLAFEL99 Very stupid comment

  • @SUPERFLAFEL99 what is stupid ? i dont understand why you would even comment like that ? he recited from Quran and i never found it funny and actually it made me realise how beautiful is Allah and his plan is to be merciful on his righteous slaves so He guides them by showing signs which only the one understands whom Allah wills.

  • @slimwasim

There is nothing up there...Allah only in your empty jar called brain........he is selling stupidty to stupid people like you.

  • @SUPERFLAFEL99 Ohh wow, great logic and refutation... keep this up while more and more convert to Islam around you, In west, In Europe, In United States... Women, Doctors, lawyers, and even scientists.... But again, ONLY you are the smartest, so what if a achievers and scientists are converting, all it takes is one comment ... They are all stupid!! huh

  • I do not see what all the controversy is... Br Nouman is not lessening the importance of his first child walking, but merely saying he was shocked by the coincidence of what he was reciting and what was happening, and he understood that because of his grasp of arabic...

    /drama: off

  • and we don't have to learn arabic to have better iman..coz there is translation n the arabic. But it is encouraged to learn it for better knowledge about ISLAM. If Allah wants to give you knowledge no one would stop you in getting it..Wallahu alam..

  • i'm the fourth child and i do believe my mom forgets my name sometimes lol

  • Subahnallah!..haha I love his laughs..they stop after a couple of hahaha..lol..SUbhanallah!;)

  • This is really sad.

  • The miracle of Qur'an is in the words themselves... Subhanallah one can read it even without understanding (such as myself-- I read in Arabic but don't understand save a few words) and get lost in the music it makes in your head. The miracle is in the words but i truly believe the bigger miracle is the simple fact that Allah S.W.T. was the one who directly spoke them unto the Prophet S.A.W.

I believe the brother is simply saying that there is more benefit knowing arabic :)

    Eid Mubarak! :)

  • By far, he is one of the greatest islamic speaker that I know from youtube.

Please check out my blog bout my review on him and other islamic speaker and theme.. islamicinspiration-stories.blogspot.com

  • lolx SubhanAllah !!

  • lol

  • Stop talkin bout babar Ahmad soop much muslim all know u should act n try helping the brother

  • UK CITIZENS VERY URGENT – Babar Ahmad is the longest detained without trial British citizen, now in his eighth year behind bars fighting against extradition to the US. He was beaten up by the British police and Islam was mocked by these officers. We need 100,000 signatures by 10/11/11 and Parliament will debate putting Babar on trial in the UK where he is more likely to get a fair trial. Visit freebabarahmad website for the link and inshallah Allah will reward you. Please spread.

  • THIS GUY SEEM COOL

  • hahaha awesomee MashAllah

  • Understand 50% of the Qur'an in 9 hours!!!!!!! :

understandquran(dot)com , this is sooo simple , you cant believe it... love it, spread!

  • @misstuhin wa iyak sister, please spread it...

  • Well I'm no father yet but when I become one I better be a great one Inshallah..

  • @pakinifty yes we are not Arabs..WE ARE MUSLIMS...and the Qur'an was revealed to us in ARABIC..SO in order to understand the word of OUR CREATOR we should learn Arabic..I am FIRST A MUSLIM...LAST A MUSLIM..

  • @islamdeenulhaqq Its just a lame excuse to learn Arabic to understand Qur'an. If somebody is really interested in finding Qur'an as a miracle then He/She can do it by reading it's translation, but people don't ! How many people have learnt Arabic to understand Qur'an? And How many have even read the translation of Surah Fatiha? All of us did study Arabic when we were kids, but whats the advantage of it? It would rather had been better to study the Translation at that time.

  • @pakinifty Translations of any language do not accurately depict the comprehensive meaning from the original language. Surah Fatiha translated into English is NOT the same as it is in Arabic; learning the translation in English gives you an idea of what it means, but any linguist will tell you that you lose meaning through translation. Why would we want to deprive ourselves of the FULL meaning of Allah's words to us?

  • @islamdeenulhaqq so you are a mafia member (muslim islam)

  • @islamdeenulhaqq Quran wasn't revealed in arabic, just because arabic was special. Because it was the local langauge, I think if someone learns arabic in depth and translates it to other languages, you won't have to learn arabic, please don't include islam to politics. Being muslim and arabs are different. For me arabic is no different than any other language, I respect every langauge

  • @pakinifty

    Are you muslim?

  • @pakinifty because Arabic is the language that Allah SWT revealed the Qur'an in. In the end it doesn't matter if we were Pakistani or not..and yeah I'm Pakistani myself.

  • @pakinifty yeh im proud of my country too, but im more proud that im a muslim, and i got islam.

According to my country technology, IT, medicine or engineering was not started from my country, but i travel through countries to learn my Degree and masters.

infact when i born i born as muslim, so i have more responsible to learn arabic the language of my guidance book on earth. :)

    -peace -

  • @pakinifty Learn Arabic because of 3 things

It is the Language which Allah selected to reveal his final Testament the Quran

Secondly it was the Language which was spoken by the Best of Creation

and Finally because it would be the language of the People of Jannah which is best of All Places

  • @umairalikhan88 and one more point brother: for the fact that Arabic would be the official language when the Caliphate with get re established inshaAllah on the (foot steps of the Prophet) so it wud be mandatory then (if we stay alive until then)

  • @pakinifty You shouldnt be proud instead "we PAKIZ" should be humble.

  • @pakinifty nationality is a sin.

  • @pakinifty dont learn arabic but understand what quran is saying to you.

  • @pakinifty brother the man in this video is also pakistani but he learnt Arabic for the sake of ALLAH.. he is a proud Muslim..

  • @pakinifty I dont know why people of pakistan are so much nationalistic...even though they havent done ANYTHING Untill today :S

  • cant stop admiring this man .. masha'Allah

May Allah guide us to his way and to use us for guiding others. Ameen

  • lol, so true about your firstborn, everything they do amazes you alhamdulillah :D

  • แปลให้บ้าง

  • @Sharukkin wht do u mean by that?

  • @islamdeenulhaqq I mean by that, a muslim prays 5 times a day, but his child will walk for first time only once in a life, so there wouldn't any disaster if he stopped praying or finished it quicker and enjoyed this happy moment with his family. Why be so fanatic.

  • @Sharukkin I'm sorry but that is not how our religion prioritizes things, first and foremost is our duty to Allah the almighty and then on only out of love for Allah s.w.a that we even get married and have kids.

And Br. Nouman explains this as well, the ayath he was reciting just happened to be ayath no. 9 of Surah Al-Munafiqoon "O you who believe! Let not your properties or your children divert you from the remembrance of Allah. And whosoever does that, then they are the losers."

  • @Sharukkin Who is being fanatic?? LOL and Saphirefrost said it right that first and formost duty is to Allah almighty rest of the things come afterwards...what Brother Nouman is trying to explain here is the importance of learnign Arabic....instead of focusing on the message...and getting something out of it..you are geting mislead by it.

  • @islamdeenulhaqq Ok, so every single person in the world has to learn arabic? It's a little bit weird that a perfect being (God) creates so imperfect rule - he forces all the people in the world to learn a certain language in order to get his message fully.

  • @Sharukkin /watch?v=PLmwOh1YKD0 This should address your concern. With a little thought, we see there is wisdom in God's usage of Arabic- a language unmatched in its precision, practically specialized for this purpose, for His Message. May God bestow his guidance, forgiveness, and mercy on the sincere seekers of truth!

  • @KnightofPower 2:33 "... rich message in which one statement can mean many many many things, so it's richness, it's accuracy and it's precision.." This is one of the most contradicting statements i've ever heard. If you want to deliver a precise message why would you choose a language in which one word can many things? To force people argue over what does the word mean? Perhaps because the developing science explain a lot of superstitions so Islam uses ambiguity of arabic to evade the criticism.

  • @Sharukkin LOL..who is forcing you or anyone to learn Arabic????? It is highly recommnded..if you want to understand and percieve Quran as a Miracle...we should learn Arabic...only then we will be able to appreciate the beauty of the Quran...

  • @Sharukkin you're a bit dumb aren't u..

  • @Sharukkin The Qur'an HAD to come down in SOME kind of language, you know. It couldn't not have any language lol. It's just that Allah chose Arabic.

  • @DarkMoodRing Correct. But why did he have to write the Qur'an in so difficult language? Or to rephraze that - in so illogical and contradictional way? The true miracle would be writing/revealing the Qur'an in a simple, but understandable way, which would not loose it's meaning in translation, as the clerics say it does, so we all have to learn arabic to see the "miracle".

  • @Sharukkin First, I apologize for the late reply.

Second, you know how each prophet has had a miracle? Sometimes more than one. For example, prophet Jesus could turn clay shaped as a bird into a real living bird by Allah's will, he spoke as an infant, he could tell people what they just ate and what food they have in their houses, resurrect the dead by Allah's will, etc. And prophet Moses when he turned the staff in his hand into a large snake, the parting of the sea, etc.

    [see next comment]

  • @Sharukkin Well, one of the miracles of prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is the Qur'an. How so, you ask? Every miracle comes with a purpose, a purpose of proving to the people that there is a higher power, that there is Allah. The Arabs at that time were the best at literature (poetry); so the Qur'an was sent down in very eloquent Arabic, to the degree that none of the poets, not even the best, could write anything as well written as the Qur'an.

  • @DarkMoodRing My friend, I don't deny that the language of the Quran is on a high level. What I'm saying is if you just once allow yourself to think objectively, impartialy and think about it - A perfect god, writes a book in a very difficult language, that is interpreted in tens of different ways (and most of them are HONESTLY sure they're the right ones), the whole book is about how perfect, just and loving he is, yet children get killed, women get raped and this world is so messed up?

  • @Sharukkin Half of the Semitic languages are nowadays extinct. And guess which one is the most widely spoken? Yep, Arabic. 200+ million speakers.

  • @islamdeenulhaqq i agree with you.

  • @Sharukkin You've point out it clearly.. Mr. Nouman Ali Khan has made his point by reciting the quran regarding ur argument.." those of you who have iman, don't allow your money or your kids to take you away from the remembrance of Allah, and who ever do so, those are the ultimate losers". Yes Sharukkin in Islam we can not allow anything and love anything more than Allah subhana wata'ala..would you leave your church/temple/ for that?this is what we believe in Islam. may you get it.

  • @PutriShi You're right. You gotta love him. He forces his prophet to kill his child, burns the whole cities, because they're some sinner there, let's his own creature - shaitan to tempt us, after that tortures and burns us in hell for the eternity. How can you not love him.

  • @Sharukkin I have no respond in what you say..and yes I love Allah and wishing for Him to let me love Him more InsyaAllah..

"And whomsoever Allâh wills to guide, He opens his breast to Islâm, and whomsoever He wills to send astray, He makes his breast closed and constricted, as if he is climbing up to the sky. Thus Allâh puts the wrath on those who believe not." Surah Al an'am (6:125)

  • @Sharukkin

"And this is the Path of your Lord (the Qur'ân and Islâm) leading Straight. We have detailed Our Revelations for a people who take heed." Surah Al An'am (6:126)

  • @PutriShi So tell me, if you're a non-believer from the beggining of your life, it means that Allah willed to "send you astray" and doesn't want you to be in Islam right? Then what's the point? He creates a person just to torture him in hell for the eternity? I can't believer how naive this is.

  • @Sharukkin

If Allah has sealed the hearts of the non-Muslims, then why are they to be blamed for not accepting Islam? please read: ilovezakirnaik . com/misconceptions/b10.htm

  • @Sharukkin

ur not a scholar, neither have u studied islamic jurisprudence, u jus pick up a Quranic verse and make it mean whatever u want it to mean. Quran is a book revealed over 23years, with 114 chapters and over 6000 verses. and u hang on to the "God guides who He wills" verse without even knowing what context is it in and what's its explanation in the Hadith and Tafseer. if u read the link i gave u in my previous comment u wouldnt continue this baseless argument

  • @iLoveProphetJesus You're right, I interpret it how I think it's right to interpret. Others might have different opinion. And that's the beauty of religion. No one is right, but everyone has his own truth. But nothing I say will convince you untill you free your mind of a "duty" to see things in a prescribed way. Untill you become objective. Cause after all - if God wants you to be in paradise, he'll guide you, even if you try to evaluate religion objectively (you only tried to find truth).

  • Comment removed

  • @Sharukkin answer is simple...the prayer is more important

  • well why wasnt i special : (

  • Wait, what? You have your entire life to pray namas, 5 times a day at that, but your child will stand for the first time only once. It's good that he did not break his namas, but to show a response is what makes us human. We can't be stoic, we need to be emotional!

I think there are stronger metaphors to give upon why one should know what he is reciting...

  • @Kakashinoor The truth is y was this life that been given to u (by God), still u think that u should have ur own view? By saying that "We need 2 be emotional" then u making ur own choice whever God or child should be the first. I believe u also choose God as ur first priority. U cant change de priority just becoz u want to. What will be de biggest moment, with ur child or with ur God(pray)? We all human has emotional feeling, but u see...emotion easily be affected. We should have faith(to God)

  • @Zaicowalyphizer Life was given to us on a whim. We are servants of Allah, and we will pray because he commands us to. But we are humans first, and Muslims second.

  • SUBHANLLAH!

  • Subhanallah

  • Please visit our channel, exclusively dedicated to collecting all Brother Nouman Ali Khan's lectures on one channel......*thumbs up so that others might also see this post! InshaAllah!

  • =]

  • Muslim stand up comedy? haha great!

  • SubhanAllah!!

  • wat he did was natural, that's wat anyone would do, even the prophet did that once

n that's a part of mercy, not hippocracy

  • @MroBlack0Angel

the ayah talks about those who put their money and kids a priority before Allah, not a natural instinct of lovin the kids! :)

but nice corelation n remindance :)

  • This is a good lecture plus so true and natural what he said. And it is delivered in a casual, easy sort of way, so hearing it is good and not boring. Well done.

  • lol ..

  • I personally don't believe that the ayah he cited as not letting children or money distract u and the example of swalaat and child walking are related!!

  • @555discovery it is realted dear... It may not be that big of a deal.. child walking but it is part of the little things that connect to it..

  • @555discovery think about it....he is praying his salah and at the same time he is being taken away from the rememberance of allah because he has noticed his child walking which has taken his rememberance away from allah....allah is the one who has blessed us with all that we have...money, children etc..this is one of many examples alhumdulillah

  • @kotlianz Do you know that once our beloved prophet Muhammad pbuh was praying the salah when one of his children climbed over his back while he was in sajda..he waited for the child to get off his back before getting up and continuing his salah. Are we going to say that the child distracted him from his salah???

  • @555discovery He is our example and leader he was not distracted but rather he showed us what to do in a situation like that...whereas when brother nauman was praying his salat he noticed his child walking and showed signs of distractions but mashallah the very next verse he read informed him of this very issue and he returned to allah.

  • @555discovery He was not distracted from his salah but rather it was an example for the rest of us on what to do in such a situation....but in brother Naumans instance as he said himself he was getting distracted by his child taking his first steps and by the grace of allah the very next verses he recited were about not letting your children take you away from the rememberance from allah...continued

  • All the zzzzzz's on the title was unnecessary but the video is great nonetheless! =)

  • subhanalah

  • Mashallah!

  • can anyone tell me where i could contact him please ?

  • Does anybody know the video where Noman Ali Khan recommends Abdel Haleems translation of the Quran?

  • SubhanAllah!!!!

  • that is so True

  • Subhaaaaaan Allah!

  • subhaanallaah...Good points

    Funny too - mashallah

  • intense!

  • I'm Muslim, I memorize the surahs for praying and some dua but idk what they mean unless I read the translations, I dont know Arabic. Is that bad? Or do I really need to study Arabic or I need to memorize the translations?

  • @goxgoddezz no brother, its not bad that u dont know the meanings... it depends on u if u want to learn arabic so that u understand too... u dont need to memorize the translations but it is considered better that when u read Quran u not only read it but also try to understand it by reading its translation and the explanation...

  • @goxgoddezz

noo not at all bro/sis, its not bad.. Just keep reading the translations, as you read them, try to fit word for word & understand it, Then inshallah, gradually you would be able to understand.. & whenever you come across an arabic word you dont understand, find out what it means.. Try to study it rather than memorize. Salams

  • @missuzpalestine My brother you are right, I have been reading translations and have come to the conclusion that the quranic arabic language is easy to learn. You might not be able to tell what it exactly means sometimes but you are coming close to it.

When memorizing read translation and everything will become easier inshallah.

  • subhanallah that was very good and funny :DDDDD

  • der Vers bringt mich immer wieder auf den Boden zurück

  • this shaykh's so cool
