  • Very informational and helpful!!

  • Thank you so much for sharing all this information with us and for showing us how you do your face-ups! I decided to order a Hujoo Wings doll as a "starter/practice" doll but wonder how different it will be since these dolls are made of ABS Plastics instead of Resin. I ordered all the same supplies you use on the resin but am now worried they are not going to work on this doll. Do you know if they will work? Any information will be greatly appreciated!

  • You mentioned you seal often and listed 3 different sealants. Can I JUST use mr super clear, or do I need different kinds of sealants for each step?

How long do you wait for the sealant to dry before you start working again? How far away do you hold the can while you spray, and how do you know when you've applied enough?

    Thank you!

  • Thanks a lot for sharing a bit of your art with us. It's difficult to make it right. I'm restoring a head and the painting it's specially hard. ^^.

  • Question about how to sea the make up l: You said you use Tamiya TS80, that is a laquer..

isn´t it a problem if you make a mistake and must remove it from the head? What do you us to clean it?

  • Yes! My question was the first to be answered! Thanks a bunch!

  • So incredibly inspirational! I just watched all of your videos.

I find it hardest to seal the face-ups... Do you have any special tips for that? I've seen some people build spraying booths but I don't know too much about it.

I'm so gonna go out and update my materials a bit!

  • Thanks for the Q&A! :)

I have a question that I didn't see on there. When you're finished with the face-up and you want a change after a certain amount of time for the doll, how do you remove everything? Do you use something specific?

  • I gave your tutorials a try today, and I seemed to have the same problem as a few others with the watercolor pencil scraping the sealer into a lump instead of doing a line. Could this be due to sealer not having dried properly in the eyelids? Under eyes the pencils worked wonders.

  • Thank you for this informative video! I'm a huge fan of your work and I love every video you've released so far.

I have a question about the shimmer powder you use. Do you use mainly white, or do you use colors specific to the part of the face you're blushing? I'm new to using the shimmer powders and I'd love to hear more about their purpose in faceups. Thank you!

  • Thank you very much.

    Let's try!

  • How do you store your brushes and where do you keep them?

  • Yay one of my questions got replied! ^^ Thanks so much for your kindness of sharing everything in the videos! it's amazing to see how you work!

But I should say I was really impressed when I discovered you use gouache instead of acrylics for the paint parts!! I should be a sin to be so good with that! XD I'm terrible with gouache and can never paint right with it XD Do you dilute it a lot in water, or you just use it concentrated? o.o

Thanks again for the great video! Jess is such a cutie! ^o^

  • @JustYuna you need to make paints to milk like consistency to be able to use it with the airbrush, so yeah you must dilute it with water.

  • You and your work are amazing! Thanks so much for being so generous in sharing your work and technique with others.

  • Absolutely stunning, I'm a 30yr old guy who collects and builds horror and sci fi model kits, but this is next level brilliance. Utterly beautiful. I really want to get my own BJD now. So inspired. wonderful work! x

  • @buttondiet Wow, your comment was so respectfull I just felt I should reply too. I'm a BJD collector and feel rather proud to see a commend lke this in NicollesDreams videos, 'cause she's a very inspiring artist indeed and it's good to see a guy that collects horror and sci-fi kits so interested in ABJDs! I hope you feel welcome in the community!

  • @JustYuna Thanks so much! It's a pleasure. I feel like I have discovered a whole new world to immerse myself in! I am in such awe at the ethereal beauty of these dolls. x

  • Oh how beautiful! Definitely enjoyed watching! I know you buy some of your eyes from Dollflower but where else do you buy eyes for your girls? :)
