i did this and my hair went poofy, i would suggest trying it again with really loose, chunky plaits or braids... thats what im going to do... hope i helped.

Hey i have preettyy thick hair but so it looks reallyfunky and messy in the morning i have a routine. first i wash my hair but with only shampoo and conditioner then i let it dry just so my hairs fairley damp but not dripping then i get loads of thin hairties, grab v.smalll peices of hair and plait ALL over my head and leave overnight then take them out in the morning , use a hairdryer to make it volumised and DO NOT BRUSH i will look lush on subtle layers on LONG hair x x

I tried this and it actally worked! Honestly this is one of the best hair tips i've ever been given. My hair is about 2" below my shoulder and it still works, so i think its worth ago. :D Well Done x x
