I used to love this band.....best all-girl rock band in my opinion. Janet Garder was sexy as hell....a lot hotter than Lita Ford or Joan Jett. I think they would have had a much longer career if grunge didnt come along and kill off hard rock. If they debuted in 1982, they would have had a solid 10 years at the top like Van Halen, Motley Crue, and Bon Jovi.

Janet lives in New England, she doesn't perform anymore. She is a mom, and a dental hygienist last I heard. Jan is still playing as Vixen with 3 new girls, living in L.A., they did a new record last year. I have the CD, it's pretty good. That's always been Vixen though, always Jan and others have come and gone. You can find them on myspace if you're interested, just look for the official Vixen here on youtube, that's Jan's page, the links on there to the website and myspace pages.

listen the new group will never be any good they wont even come close to janet share and roxy they should have called the new band kuhenmund or something not vixen because it is not vixen and there real fans only seem to realize that

It wasn't 7 years ago when VIXEN was started. It was alot longer than that! I know the band personally.

It was seven years BEFORE THEY MADE THIS during the tour for their first album release in 1988.
