I respect Chris for doing his thing. I mean he is creative in his own way. And he sure did kick some ass with the ol' flat top box, but this just sounds like a garage band of high schoolers trying to cover the beastie boys.
However, he is after all, taking blues to a whole new level. Which when it comes to music... is what its all about.
Yes, I can imagine that he had a hard time getting booked following the release of "21st Century Blues... From Da Hood". That album is very, very under-rated and yes some of the material on it is controversial. But the main message of the album is that he doesn't give a damn about the purists or nay-sayers, he is going to ROCK the blues HIS way, and boy he sure does.
