  • This band is so incredible live and on record. I have always felt that great songwriting is akin to great storytelling, and this band carries on torch for Strummer, Dylan and Springsteen.

  • Dylan and Springsteen still have the torch. They're not dead. But, yeah the Hold Steady are comparable to all of them.
