That's 100! I'll start working on the part 4 right away. Please don't message me about it, as I know I need to post the video. I'll post a comment here when I have uploaded. Thanks guys, you are all great!
You think you can teach one of the hardest piano songs in the world through a couple of 10 minute videos? You're quite brave. =] It'll take a while. But we'll be right here with ya, buddy.
I looked at your website to view the lesson list and didn't find this under Classical or under any other category for that matter. I was interested in seeing how much of the song is available on the website should I choose to sing up for your service as well as see your opinion of the difficulty of each part. Can you tell me why I can't find it on the website?
What do you think about playing the G# in the five-note roll (bar 5 above) with the thumb on the left hand? I'm left handed and it seems easier to me to play it this way than to roll the right hand and hit the C# with the 3rd finger. The timing has to be just right, but it's actually not too difficult because it's quite natural to ensure that both 5th fingers hit their notes at the same time. You just need a fast left hand (you need a fast left hand for this piece anyway, I'm sure!)
Just by coincidence, I decided a couple of days ago to make it a goal of mine to learn Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2.
I got to Bar 18 (Bar 4 in this lesson) on my own when I couldn't figure out how to possibly plat that five-note chord. I eventually came to the conclusion that I would have to play the bottom two notes with my thumb alone, but didn't think that would be the "right" way to play it. These lessons are going to be very helpful for me to reach my goal... I can see that already. Thanks!
Awesome stuff.... I have learnt a number of songs on your website now... everyone thinks I 'm a pro, just from your lessons.. I've never had any other lessons.. so thank you...
i bought a keyboard a year ago, i have never had ant prior lesson i found you on youtube & i have been hooked since... thank you everything i have learned has been from your uploads !!
Do you think this piece will have the most number of lessons to complete it?
i say this because its 18 pages and we are only on the start of the second page now, and plus the level of difficulty increases dramatically very soon.
+1
