I wonder how FPS (approx.) will i get with:

Gainward 8800GT 512 MB DDR3

Phenom X2 555 BE 3,2 GHz

Kingston 2 GB DDR2

on my LG W1934S (1440x900) ?

... what was your highest FPS, without FRAPS, if you remember? :)

And if you multiply 1280x1024 and 1440x900, you'll see there's only a marginal difference between the two. Which means you'll be running this almost exactly as I am.

Really, really well. This game is about a million times more graphically intensive than any Source game out there, so the Source engine is like a cakewalk for this card. On completely maxed out settings (16xQAA/16xAF included) I get about 200-250fps average on regular maps. Go to an FPS-boosted map like de_contra and you've got yourself 300fps.

Excellent game, I bought it myself. I recommend getting the PC version over the console versions because you're getting DX10 along with other improved visuals like up to 16xQAA. The keyboard works great to play this game, although it's a little confusing at first. And if you don't like it you can always buy a USB gamepad from Target or Wal-Mart or something.

Well, the fact that it's a PC game and you use a keyboard to navigate on a PC (don't know if you realized that) makes the keyboard kind of my first choice to playing the game.

It runs very well. My 8800GT is hardly the most powerful card out there and it runs it completely maxed out flawlessly.
