The Terminator one is my personal favorite because Arnie plays the perfect Antagonist. Plus, his dialogue was very short. It pissed me off that James Cameron, one of my favorite film directors didn't direct The Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines.

I actually like them A LOT more than the all the CGI effects that came in later Terminator films; the HK models in the future war; the progressive wearing away of the Terminator's face is creepier than anything CGI can create...not to mention: the stop-motion T-800 exoskeleton still scares the shit out me to this day.

@akiddnamedalex Debateable. Personally T2 is my favorite, but that may be because I grew up with it, and because of the way it compliments the first one. But I won't deny there are strengths the first one has the second one doesn't, or falls short of. The toss up is definetly between the first 2, but I think they both keep each other strong.
