Isabelle turned in an amazing performance as Esther in this. It had the fingerprints of method acting all over it. I think she's a natural. I thought the movie as a whole was marginal, but she was amazing. She conveyed the range of emotions Esther was going through brilliantly. She was beautiful, creepy, adorable, and deplorable, all at the same time. At times I sympathized with her, other times felt she was remorseless, and didn't deserve it.

That girl can act... a rarity these days.
