Artists must have freedom. You cannot have censorship or control expression and have good art. B16 has banned rock music and condemned abstract art. Not sure this meeting will go anywhere with papal interference.

Those views in B16 no longer hold water. The previous pope invited Bob Dylan to play at the Vatican. And there are abstract art works in the Vatican galleries.
