Its in Northumberland, in England, about an hour form where I live. Took 2 months of effort before the send.. One of the nicest bouldering venues for miles around, everything from V7 to V14, and also an extention to the traverse I did that gets french 9a!
I do, for the last 10 years or so. I train a lot on a campus board and I know that slapping somebodys hands and coming down again is not going to get you very strong, especially on a big huge bar thats easy to hold.
this is one of MANY drills i do for my climbing strength. this ISN'T for finger strength it is for ply'a back and arm strength. it WILL help u pull harder. you dont have to slap someones hand, it just helps you get a visual so u stay at that height. and ya bars are easy to hold onto. thats why we use other things for finger strength. you dont like it. thats great. but you dont have to go around being a douche either
@XshaolinkidX Look, man, thais is a good exercise-it's plyometric, upper-body challenging, including abs, and so on-so ignore the dummies trying to piss on your clip. You seem like a lil' grasshopper, so some of theyou're p bullies figure they can punk you. But you're vids are good, and I see great potential in you; plus, I'm for the little guys. Anyway, put the dummies in the dumptser and keep moving
@rmsolympic1 ya most ppl see pull ups as suppose to be slow and methodical, which is GREAT for isolating certain muscles, but this version gives you a TOTAL core workout as well. makes you learn how to use muscular linkage, which is SUPER important in all the sports i do. its not for everyone, but it works very well for those that climb, do martial arts, or freerun
@XshaolinkidX Yes, brother, I agree. These plyo-style pull ups are almost like powerlifting on the bar, and they require everything to fire simultaneously, giving most of the upper body a bite, particularly the core, which must stabilize everything and leverage all your force.
